I was waiting to post as I wasn't sure if the bios was causing the issues or not, but since you seemed to have had issues, I'll say I too had some issues with it, they started yesterday. I lost half my USB ports
I tried everything else, but finally decided to re-flash the bios and it worked... used the same one, but for some reason this time it worked... what scared me though, is one of the ports that died, was the bios flashback, but apparently it only affected them in windows. I may go back to the older bios I had. The 2404 beta bios has been the most stable I've tried so far, it just worked.
My Glacial display was showing RAM errors at one point.
So I said hell no!I reflashed as well with the same version and everything went better.
31MB Bios ....

I am not happy how this update behaved on my system.
The rig had quite a few restarts and my digital display gave some errors during the process.
I had to wait for 20 minutes and then force a restart myself for the BIOS to pass all the testing it does when I turn the machine on.-

The place where I work had a similar system and they assigned Virtual Cpus (vCPUs), virtual Memory, etc to individuals.
We had a two core 4 thread v cpu to do our jobs :).
While nice this solution was not very flexible for covid so we all went with laptops.

The man put a car in space and will probably have have human beings on Mars within 20 years. He most likely is a narcissist, but at least he's advancing the tech that might allow for my grandchildren to live after we've destroyed our home. As far as i'm concerned, he can do whatever the hell he wants, he does anyway.
A family member, on my partner's side worked for Tesla.
The things he said echoed Amazon's treatment of employees.
One aspect that shocked me is the investment Tesla makes in their workforce to have access to shrinks and psychologists in order to continue working 7/7.

Hmm the Pot calling the Kettle Black *hahah*.

The transition will happen.
It was the same with film and digital photography :). -

Really nice Mistio!
I love full cover blocks for motherboards, I would love to use one on my X570 Taichi but there is only one block available and I don't like the looks..
How are the CPU and GPU temps? Thanks. It was the most convenient solution to get a rig assembled quickly and lose some weight *cost of mobo, cough*.
Given that I have the hottest components on the market, I would say temperatures are more than adequate.
This was a 7m real bench run to give you an indication.
Apart from XMP, I did not do anything in the bios.

My First forray in watercooling.
Had some help from my best friend.I originally had an X99 build but sadly when I tried to at my 3080TI in the loop, I killed the mobo.
I was filling up the loop, it pushed up the fill power and it spilled all over.
I dried, danced, and washed it in alcohol but still no joy.So I decided to change things a bit.
1. EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE 200 D5 PWM D-RGB - Acetal 2. Front mounted EK-CoolStream XE 480 (Quad) in push pull with Noise Blocker Fans 3. Top mounted EK-CoolStream SE 280 (Slim Dual) in push with Noise Blocker Fans. Cannot fit push-pull as the Mobo block obstructs one fan by 1cm 4. EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3080 D-RGB - Silver Special Edition for the 3080TI FE 5. Asus Glacial Z590 6. Rear Exhaust : Noise Blocker 140mm 7. Aqua computer High Flow Next Sensor G1/4

As long as I can add it discretely in my signature I defer to the above mentioned feedback

Going full circle I see.
In the 80s and 90s, enterprises had terminals which enabled them to connect to room sized machines located miles away.
Now we bring it all back :).

I ask myself sometimes if people really think they can send stuff out broken and nobody will notice.
How can you tighten a premium water block to a point where you break the damn thing?3 out of 4 screws of the backplate were fine but the 4th one pretty much got threaded into the block rivet or whatever you call it. It is a similar design like the motherboard stand you tread into your case before you place the motherboard and tighten the screws.
So now, I opened an RMA ticket, I have to wait for EK to look at it and contact me.
In addition we will go back and forth until I grovel enough for them to help me out. This is why I no longer shop outside of Amazon.
Something broke? No questions asked, order a replacement and they send it ASAP.
You have a month to return the old one or they charge it on your card.

I am not happy with the temps to be honest.
Memory hits 96 C in Horizon Zero Dawn playing ULTRA@1440p.If I make it sound like jet engine it will drop to 85 on the memory.
Core is fine. 70-72 but the memory is what bothers me.
There was nothing else in my area I could buy for this price.
Everything was 2k EUR and above.
I snagged this MSRP+75 EUR shipping. -
