  2. Beautiful piece of land, I do so miss the Northwestern sky. Did 2 years out at FT. Lewis. Looks like you are on the Spokane side of the cascades. You're making me jealous.
  3. Welcome to the forums! The short answer to your question is yes, Teslas can run less than 16x. You can make use of your M.2. Slots with M.2. To PCIe 4x risers which are affordable and can be found on eBay. PCIe lanes will indeed be a challenge and as you noted, either Xeon or TR are your only real choices. You are going to have to bite the bullet if you go TR. The CPUs are reasonable but the x399 boards are crazy expensive. Past using them for folding at home, all of the ways you intend on using them are Chinese to me.
  4. She's a beaut. I sat in an S2000 once, being 6'3" i got right out. Nice neighborhood. You ever get around to having an open bar barbeque, i'm your guy.
  5. So, had a major storm roll through with significant flooding in the area, though we weren't effected. Lost internet for a day and a half. Did a clean wipe of windows and did as you suggested @tictoc and it seems to be working CUDA on both GPUS. Going to run overnight to see how it holds up and petition for the change tomorrow. Sorry about the lost points. I have to say, at the current multiplier rates and current folding, the K5000 is dangerous @+200 core. Looks to be about 23 million PPD with 140 multiplier. Fingers crossed. And the 750Ti @40x multi is nothing to sneeze at, still 12 million PPD Stock.

    Hi peeps

It's more a mindset. I'm sure there is enough tech floating around here to get you boosted up from that 1060. That GPU database is pretty cool.
  7. Correct, the only issue here is I am not trying to use a GeForce card for the ETF. While I can (780Ti) I prefer to crush @BWG's hopes and dreams (At least the ones that don't have his wife in them). Welcome to the forums!
  8. I've got the newest ones installed. I'll try what tic suggested. You guys haven't had the pleasure of messing with Tesla or Quadro drivers. It's a real pain.
  9. Bant, cuz doesn't look like the pictures for a Vet Vac https://www.thinkvacuums.com/veterinarian-central-vacuum-system-by-drainvac.html
  10. Same issue as the K4000 @tictoc. No idea how to fix the issue of failed CUDA initialization. At least the 750Ti is working as expected. So I will be running that I suppose. I really don't know whats happening, same issue on the 750Ti now? I can only assume that having Quadro drivers and GeForce drivers on the same machine is messing with it somehow.
  11. Let the default testing begin.... Muhahahaha. Hope to get a facelift after. TIM/Pads and addition of Kraken AIO, it looks like it will fit.
  12. Welcome fam. There are quite a few Linux experts round these parts. I'm sure they can help you get it sorted out
  13. I have really been digging the Quadro's/GRID's/Teslas (Even though they gave me headaches), I just picked up a GRID (Dual GPU) K2 and a GRID (Quad GPU) K340, just to have around because I sold all of my K80's.
  14. I'll double check. There are 2 versions, the enterprise or beta I think. I will look again tonight, I had downloaded the beta one, will try the other and see if it helps.
  15. The K4000 runs Cuda 3.0. All of the wu's are running OpenCl. It was the same moonshot units just fine until last night. I even did a fresh windows install, no dice. I have no idea what happened. I didn't modify anything, just came downstairs and it was gimped. Took my PPD down from 170k to 60k just like that. I tried 3 different drivers, all clean installs with the same outcome. The card never draws above 70%, I don't suppose I killed it? Maybe reflash VBios? The 750Ti arrives today, but I don't want to waste my card change. The surprise card comes tomorrow and I want to see if I can get that Kraken AIO installed on her. Might just have to bite the bullet and not have any real points until Wednesday when I don't have my children.
  16. Card was doing so good, no idea what happened. Came down stairs and the PPD dropped to half. Realized the card was running very slow core and had switched over to OpenCL and CUDA failed to initiate. After re-installing drivers and FaH, nothing seems to fix the issue. Good thing I have a card that should be here tomorrow. 23:30:46:WU00:FS02:0x22:Error compiling program: nvrtc: error: invalid value for --gpu-architecture (-arch) Any ideas?
  17. I'm in EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 FTW Ultra Gaming 08G-P5-3767-KR 06/28/21 EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti FTW w/ EVGA ACX Cooling 02G-P4-3757-KR 08/12/21
  18. Hell no. Is there going to be a day each month for downtime for the card to preform maintenance?
  19. I believe so. It has 9 PCI-e plugs. I think it's 4x8x1 and 5x8x2.
  20. I own that PSU, its a beast for sure.
  21. Yep, one of the 2 cards I purchased is a GTX 750 Ti. Not telling what the other is. I look forward to battling you on an even keel.
  22. @BWG, just wanted to remind you of that day you quoted me on, the 15 million day was with the 6 million you added that had not been tracked The K4000 does about 9 million a day with a 20% OC. And I have been getting a majority with the moonshot COVID WU's.
