  1. I understand, though if you delid, might as well run direct die.
  2. I have delidded with a rockit cool kit on 2 intel 9 series chips. Their product was sound, but I would save the money and do it yourself, it is very satisfying. I can help if you wish.
  3. You can custom order any panels you want and they will build it for you. I was thinking something like the H2GO, around 250$ and is similar in structure to the s8s. They are very responsive and you can shoot a question their way about customization. https://www.mountainmods.com/index.php?cPath=21_81
  4. If you are talking about dual 360 top mount rads, your choices are limited. https://www.newegg.com/black-thermaltake-core-w200-xl-atx-dual-system-super-tower/p/N82E16811133308?quicklink=true Or a labs case (Cheapest s8s which I own). They come on ebay sometimes, but don't last long. https://www.singularitycomputers.com/caselabs-mercury-s8s-by-josh/ or lastly could try here (I own one of these as well) https://www.mountainmods.com/index.php?cPath=21
  5. Some people, including myself would love to do that, except no Micro Centers in reasonable distance (Closest is Atlanta, 4 hours away) and the best buy here has never had a 3 series or 6 series card in stock (It's a small location).
  6. I may only have one nut, but it's huge, compensates well and gets the job done. Since iv'e already caught one fish, i'll cast my reel again @BWG
  7. First rep! Welcome friend. You are going to fit right in. Watch out for @iamjanco though, he's terrible. Looking forward to seeing your new build!
  8. *Explicit Content I nominate Snoop Dogg to be our (Gamers) official GPU spokesperson. I think he very eloquently states our frustrations.
  9. Not quite certain what generation Ledex it is. It is technically an SE "Special Edition" and based off of the Ledex Platinum standard which I thought to be separate from III or V.
  10. I do not have any experience with their universal connectors. You might want to dig up specific information on whether the 12v rail can support your anticipated GPU needs. It also appears to only come with 4 specific PCI-e Cables. I have four of these, bought on sale (Pre-release) for 200$, which came with 6 PCI-e Cables. I don't know if he frequents here, but he is the resident PSU guru @shilka. He would be a good starting point if you can't find the specific info you desire.
  11. My sentiments completely. Not in the market for any CPUs right now, but if I were, I would not be looking at Intel. That would be the first time I could say that since I have become an enthusiast. The only real reason I go with Intel is because I have no clue what I am doing with PBO. My last 4 CPU purchases were all Threadripper procs.
  12. Really feels like Intel is desperately playing catch up to AMD instead of innovating. I don't know how I feel about a mix of big and little cores, will probably be an OC nightmare.
  13. Good God, 665GB/s @64 GB max. That will be a monster GPU. Probably usher in a 3rd mining boom when it drops.
  14. Second this. I own 5 superflower PSUs. EVGA PSUs were rebranded SF. Can't go wrong with Seasonic either. I would go SF and save the cash. Some of their models have 10 year warranties like SS. Because you plan on adding a second, depending on what CPU you use, you could easily pull 850w. He'll my 2x2080tis with 9900k pull 850 while folding. I think you might want to go 1000w to be safe.
  15. Maybe you could score a few moar for the site and let @J7SC_Orion do a review to help ease his burden
  16. True, it is new tech, but still feels like gouging when a 3.0 variant can be had for 20$ or less. After all, it's just wires, rubber and plastic right?
  17. Yikes, yeah. I pay 80$ a month for 1gig.
  18. Yea, It's one of the same AS Rock X399 server boards that TicToc has (I purchased off his recommend) was a 300$ ebay purchase. If it's kaput, I would have to use the X399 board I have set aside for another project or order a new one. It's bad news bears, but this is the only major hardware issue I have had in 25 years of messing with them (that I caused), so i'm not too upset. X399 boards are INSANE expensive right now, especially ones with 5 16x PCI-e slots. https://www.ebay.com/itm/164330934011
  19. Not terrible, a 110$ mistake. I can reuse the waterblock on another air tesla at some point. I am more worried about the MOBO.
  20. Understandable, though I have not a clue as to how you would implement that in a user friendly GUI. I hear @axipher and @zodac have a bunch of free time and could use a few more projects.
