Sadly it is true. Disabling cores is not allowed unless specified. If it says 4 cores, it means 4 "Physical" cores. If a CPU has 4 physical cores and 8 logical cores (HT) that works too. I hear you. The below is something I received just a few days ago and the breach was massive in terms of what was released by "Accident". It's just luck of the draw I suppose, but I've given up trying to ease the possibility. I was involved in the T-Mobile leak as well.

I don't know why everyone is so bent up about privacy in 2023, it's non-existent anymore. I'm not saying people shouldn't want their privacy, but people thinking that you will still be able to keep it in this modern age is pointless to me.

I hate that they made the refresh have 14XXX nomenclature.

Each round has a submission count (3-5) subs from different members. Having 3 stock subs in a round that requires 3 would beat 1 XOC sub that has a higher score. The priority is to reach the submission count for each category. Past that, if there are more people submitting for a cat, the best scores stay and the lowest ones drop off. It is important though, because they would come back if a higher score was disqualified for any reason. It is possible that you may do a bench and it not count towards points for the team if others have submitted higher scores, but that is not really why EHW is participating. We are a team and we exclude NO ONE who is a member and wants to participate. We want people to come together, have fun and play with tech in a way they might not have before.

This is horrible news. I consider myself lucky to have quite a few EVGA hardware pieces.
