I'll point to a couple of the points raised here. You know what's illegal in some European countries? Criticizing government and/or politicians. Take a look at Germany. Looking at the actual law (for DSA anyway), here's some more troubling points. So the government doesn't like something you said and can go ahead and request (and the service providers are legally obligated to provide) your information. Your ability to redress is only after they have already gotten your info. And many more troubling points. Yeah this seems pretty draconian to me. I certainly hope this kind of thing does NOT get adopted everywhere.

It was actually my first time doing brakes. I had a buddy teach me and guide me while doing it.

I just did a brake job on my car over the weekend and the numbnuts who last touched my brakes didn't bother to lubricate the rear caliper slide pins. Pads were horribly uneven in wear. Further confirmation of not letting anyone work on my car if I can help it. Anyway, love this S2000, such a great car.

Octo came in on Friday. Was shipped in a padded envelope instead of a box and gotta say the box was quite smashed, but everything looks to be ok with the controller and contents within thankfully. I need to get watching on season 3. Voyager looking back was not great, but entertaining. DS9 was masterful in it's storytelling and character development. My only experience with new Trek series was Picard which was an utter travesty and I couldn't make it past the pilot of Discovery.

So the Octo will be here on Friday. From what I understand, I can hook my flow meter to it and create curves based on coolant temps in Aquasuite right? Also saw it came with a temp probe. Any recommendations for use, or is that sort of redundant with the flow/temp meter attached?

Been meaning to catch up on Orville. I didn't get far past the pilot of Discovery and Picard season 2 is an abomination. I really enjoyed the first couple of seasons of The Orville and also heard season 3 was more serious. Looking forward to it.

Agree, I grew up with Star Trek TNG re-runs and Voyager while it was running. I didn't get into DS9 until an adult. Also watched lots of classic 90s Simpsons and Seinfeld came on after. As a kid Seinfeld was just funny because of Kramer, growing up, I got more of the jokes. As for commercials, I remember this one from when I was a kid (apologies ahead of time)...
