  2. Noctua A9x25 to replace the Noctua A9x14 for my HTPC's L9a because the 4650G gets toasty. have a feeling it's not going to make much of a difference though.
  3. teeny tiny flash drives apparently FreeNAS is fine on them and since whatever drive you install FreeNAS on is unavailable for storage .... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  4. it's Dre Day bought two to play with FreeNAS but I'm probably not gonna end up swapping my NAS to it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ guess we'll see
  5. now you just need to 3D print a radiator infused with copper powder and you'd have the most metal loop of all time
  6. another X540 to 10 GbE all the things maybe if I buy 3 more I can 20 GbE all the things ?
  7. budget? Meshify 2 (or the S2, but the 2 is newer and marginally better). Be Quiet! Pure Base 600 Lian Li PC-O11

  9. two dead links in your signature that's three more than what's allowed ban
  10. did you just keep trying? I just get a 504 Gateway error anytime I've tried.
  11. another Freezer Burn competition with cheap hardware pls
  12. Might be right, the only time sellers were uncooperative after eBay stepped in for me was if their accounts got banned, but I got to keep the item and got a refund ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  13. like @pioneerisloud said, doesn't matter if they say they don't accept returns. Contact the seller, ask for a return, and when/if he says no go to the "Resolution Center" and open a support ticket with eBay. They make you wait a week (IIRC) before you can ask them to step in but when they do they ALWAYS side with the buyer and they make the seller pay for return shipping, too. Just take photos of the item before you ship it back so they can't say you damaged it/swapped it. if the seller is uncooperative they'll forcefully take the money back from the seller and you get to keep the item. I don't sell on eBay for that reason anymore, but buying is a non-issue.
  14. I just sold a RX 580 8GB (that I bought in 2019 for $179) for $300 and apparently I gave him a deal ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  15. whatever you do don't take penny advice from @iamjanco
  16. to be honest I'm more excited to see how the crap Kingston SODIMM I'm carrying over from my NUC OCs, but I assume the 4750G is a similar story to the "locked but not really" 200GE ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
