For me it's gotta be the GT1-98 throwback livery. Partially because I love the car it's from, and also it's the one I saw in person. I'm also a big fan of the Rothmans and Pink Pig throwbacks from Le Mans a couple years back.

Porsche's livery for the upcoming FE season has been unveiled. Red, black and white, daring as ever. Though I am getting some interesting vibes from the Vodafone and Tag Heuer sponsorships on the same car.

The previous generation VNL is in the game yeah, but I find the newer one to be much better looking, especially in ATS. I think part of it is that the mod has some better customization options and less chrome that you can't get rid of, but I do genuinely think the newer one is prettier irl. The new VNL, the new Freightliner Cascadia (which may or may not be in the works for ATS?) and the Mack Anthem are all really, really good looking irl and I can't quite put my finger on why. Never thought I'd like the looks of big rigs so much, makes me feel like a small child typing this out. I think I've tried ATS VR about a year ago, and it ran fine, but I never bothered with ETS2. I just like playing it in a window so I can watch something else on another monitor while I drive. Or eat something.

I'm expecting a new addition this weekend, a Vortex Tab 90. I'm a big fan of the layout. Pictured is a WASD V2 (MX Green) with GMK Nautilus caps, a Vortex VIBE (MX Blue) with SA Carbon, a WASD CODE (MX Clear) with Tai Hao PBT caps, and a Magicforce 68 (Gateron Brown) with Tai Hao caps.

Been playing more ATS/ETS2 recently. I absolutely love the 2018 Volvo VNL mod. EDIT: @ENTERPRISE , interesting issue here, similar to the embedded link bug. I uploaded my three images and posted that way, then rethought it and decided to upload with img tags and my photos from my Imgur account. When I remove the embedded photos I uploaded to EHW, I can remove all but one of them. If I delete all of them, the continue button disappears and I cannot save my changes to remove uploaded photos.

The nice thing is that, as far as I've seen, they are updating the game relatively frequently. Again, I really need to figure out how to set my stuff up again and have another go. Last time I played it was probably a month or six weeks before the game's "release".

Competition-wise, ACC seemed/seems like they want to compete with iRacing for that online sim market, but last time I checked, they have a ways to go.

That's the issue I was having. Either when I hit that button or manually clear the field for a link, the field is still there, and since it's there and it's empty, I can't save the post.

Yep, okay, iRacing wins that one. I'll give you that.

Seconding Forza games. They're about as arcadey as I'm willing to go, and they're also quite controller-friendly. Only thing is they tend to be relatively expensive.

I've been considering iRacing more and more as time goes on, but historically I've just done mostly AC/ACC, though I haven't done much recently. I'll need to gauge how much time I'll have in the near future and more importantly figure out where/how to set up my wheel first. The iRacing special events are cool though, I know the guy who got second in the top split of the Indy 500 this year. They're great even to just spectate.

Very interesting. This makes me wonder, how often does this happen? I can't recall a company coming out of the woodwork to try and compete with the big three, but I suppose that's because it either never happens or they never gain enough traction to make the news past the first article or two.

That's something that somehow never crossed my mind, but I like that idea, spoiler tags for the first week or maybe 10 days if necessary. We can play it by ear at first. What have you been watching?

With the overlap between PC and car enthusiasts here, I'm sure there must be some motorsports fans around here too... So have at it! F1, Indycar, MotoGP, WEC, Formula E, Super GT, anything goes, I'm interested. For reference, I'm a big fan/follower of F1, WEC, and IMSA. I'm catching up on all of the seasons of Formula E (just watching full race replays), and hopefully I'll be up-to-date on it by the time season 6 kicks off in November. I'm also planning on attending Petit Le Mans again for the second time. I loosely follow Indycar, and very loosely follow MotoGP, but I'd love to get into those more. Just so much racing to watch. In regards to spoilers, please put any information about race results or anything that happened during a race in a spoiler until a week after the event occurs. I know it's really hard to avoid race spoilers on the internet nowadays, but we may as well do what we can since it doesn't take much effort.
