  1. It's a game where you design, "engineer" and "build" cars including the engine anytime between the year 1946 and 2020. It's currently in development, so there's no real career mode just yet. There hasn't been an update in a few months other than a hotfix so I'm hoping we're going to get the forced induction update very soon. They have been promising that for the last 4 years. Current forced induction is just turbos that's realistic to the real world 1980s turbo technology. Here's a good video showing a build from start to finish: EDIT: lol 5 minutes after making this post, the developers uploaded an update video of what's coming very soon and it is getting the forced induction overhaul in the next week. Oh that's awesome to hear. Been a while since I've played around in Automation but that update sounds really interesting.
  2. banned because you have over twice as many boards as I do "somewhat competes" pfft
  3. Couple meals back now, but this was breakfast.
  4. banned because im now irrationally concerned about my 980 ti blowing up
  5. Congrats @xlen ! I'm in for this month. Bonus entries:
  6. Banned for being the first to ban in 2020 (in my time zone).
  7. No discussion. This is a seriously juicy photo. That is all.
  8. Count me in for this one! Always good to have a hefty PSU on hand.
  9. Do you have a handbrake? Dirt Rally was really fun with a wheel, but I found it pretty difficult to play without a handbrake, and I still had a bit of a hard time with it bound to a button on the wheel. But yes, that was the only cockpit-based VR game that started hinting at some motion sickness, but it never got too bad for me. I don't have an actual handbrake, I'm using the R3 button on my T300RS for that. I could probably give that another go. Just felt really weird and would take some getting used to.

  11. I can see how someone with the wrong mindset can get stuck in rookies for a long time if their one and only focus is winning but... that's just not the point of rookies or SR. I guess it was easier for me to not get tangled up with other drivers since I was usually at the front in either P1 or P2 with a one second cushion on either end most of the time, but still.
  12. Finally got some time to play iRacing yesterday, did my first four races. Won the first two, had a tangle-up in the third, then got P2 in the fourth. Class D already. Been enjoying it so far; it's nice to have some multiplayer interaction again.
  13. Got my rig set up a few days ago, and I've really enjoyed the bit of time I've spent with it. Also got iRacing but I had to leave my apartment for a few days before it finished updating everything. I'll try it out this weekend and see how it goes.
  14. Is it one of those super linear gameplay models ? Just wondering. No, I wouldn't call it really linear from what I remember, but my big gripe was that combat and the little features of the core gameplay weren't terribly interesting to me, so a large chunk of the game had no appeal. The only reason why I finished it was I played through the whole thing with a friend and we fooled around enough to make it fun.
  15. Bit late to the discussion, but I gotta say, played Dying Light with a friend a couple years back and just didn't really enjoy it much. Gameplay felt really repetitive and empty, and I wasn't a big fan of the story/characters. It seems I'm in the minority, but it just really didn't feel like it was worth my time.
  16. Points don't matter? I think something like that would be quite a bit of fun as well. It's been an interesting race for the midfield for the past few years since 4+ teams have been so close in the standings, but on the front end of the championship, yeah, it's just a bit of a victory lap for them in a way. Another semi-related idea that I think would be quite fun is going back to Australia at the end of the year just to see how each car/driver has changed over the course of the season.
  17. Man, it's kind of funny how just a few years ago ASRock was fairly frowned upon and Asus was the go-to for high end stuff, at least in the motherboard world. How times have changed.
