  1. Got my rig set up a few days ago, and I've really enjoyed the bit of time I've spent with it. Also got iRacing but I had to leave my apartment for a few days before it finished updating everything. I'll try it out this weekend and see how it goes.
  2. Is it one of those super linear gameplay models ? Just wondering. No, I wouldn't call it really linear from what I remember, but my big gripe was that combat and the little features of the core gameplay weren't terribly interesting to me, so a large chunk of the game had no appeal. The only reason why I finished it was I played through the whole thing with a friend and we fooled around enough to make it fun.
  3. Bit late to the discussion, but I gotta say, played Dying Light with a friend a couple years back and just didn't really enjoy it much. Gameplay felt really repetitive and empty, and I wasn't a big fan of the story/characters. It seems I'm in the minority, but it just really didn't feel like it was worth my time.
  4. Points don't matter? I think something like that would be quite a bit of fun as well. It's been an interesting race for the midfield for the past few years since 4+ teams have been so close in the standings, but on the front end of the championship, yeah, it's just a bit of a victory lap for them in a way. Another semi-related idea that I think would be quite fun is going back to Australia at the end of the year just to see how each car/driver has changed over the course of the season.
  5. Man, it's kind of funny how just a few years ago ASRock was fairly frowned upon and Asus was the go-to for high end stuff, at least in the motherboard world. How times have changed.
  6. Yeah that's kind of where I'm at as well. If the rest of the build/aesthetic lends to that look, then I quite like it, but I don't think I'd rock such a style myself. Maybe in the future, who knows.
  7. Very interesting, looks like a bit of a copy of the Phanteks Evolv. If it holds up well though, it looks like a great deal for just $60!
  8. Agreed, really nice to see more AMD hardware in laptops and other devices like this. I quite want one, but I have no reason to own one. Just another one of those things.
  9. Looks great, I like the case and the mods you made to it. Strikes a fantastic balance between being bold and angular while still elegant.
  10. Thanks for the giveaway! Looks interesting, but I wouldn't be able to attend, so I won't enter.
  11. Just to boot some activity back into this thread, how about that Brazilian GP? A few announcements today in the motorsports world, Latifi going to Williams as expected, Kubica looking to DTM for next year, and Bottas getting a divorce. In Formula 2, Gelael is getting replaced by Schwartzman (the 2019 F3 champion) at Prema to pair with Schumacher for the 2020 season. Armstrong to move from F3 to ART in F2. Here are the details on the feeder series movement since there are some F2 drivers getting shuffled around, as usual. https://www.motorsport.com/fia-f2/ne...oster/4603574/ I'm still catching up on season 5 of Formula E, and then hopefully I can start keeping up with FE as the races happen. Series seems interesting enough to be worth following, especially after the introduction of the Gen 2 cars.
  12. (temp) banned so you stay off this site and focus on getting better forreal tho hope you get well E
  13. I think there was a very similar incident with FO76 months back, so that's just them showing how well they learn from their mistakes. :rolleyes2:
  14. banned for evidently doing literally nothing other than consuming coffee
  15. banned because i intended to ban for the same reason but i forgot a ban for both of you, i say!
  16. Interesting, let us know how that board turns out.
  17. Unsurprisingly, now that it's on PC, I'm significantly more interested in the Red Dead series. I've been considering getting the first game for my 'ol 360 since it was such a big hit back in the day, and I think it'd be nice to then play it on PC after it comes out on Steam. Been hearing a lot of good things about the PC release so far.
  18. Banned because I now leave for work in the dark and get home in the dark This has induced something like a 5x grumpy multiplier
