  1. I already did, plus I added the special sauce. Let's do this!
  2. Well, I'd feel much better about that if I didn't still have USB issues
  3. I bet you 1.25 BBQ Chicken Wings that I beat you!
  4. At least it's not a LTT LN2 Bottle. Right @PCSarge
  5. Run HFM to log your work units since the site won't allow me to add you in. I can add up the total on your log and use it once the site comes back up for me.
  6. Yeah, K5000 is a bit out of scope too, so I'll probably switch it. The 960 wasn't bad except during moonshot. But, I started having issues with it again, and I thought it would be fun to directly compete with Avacado. I still crack up over that video. There's more tweaking still to be had with the event, but I think it's been fun. Each month has gradual changes on popular GPUs.
  7. I don't think that's going to be effective for cards that have ample submissions to LARS. The cards that fit into that high submission count mold just happen to all be within close proximity to each other in ETF. The real solution would be restricting the submission count even further by increasing the submission count required, and then removing the ability for a user to feed LARS independently in order to enter into the event. That effectively removes a lot of the competitive advantages we've uncovered with LARS within the first few months. Highly folded cards would saturate any attempt at manipulation. Less folded cards would then become disallowed as they probably should be. It's just not that cool to fold 30k ppd at 200 watts anyway, hypothetically. Obviously some tweaks here and there, but I think that is the direction we should head into if we want to have tighter competition. There's all sorts of things to consider though, so keep the ideas flowing.
  8. Couple of changes made in the OP effective for November. Multi-Die GPUs are GPUs with more than 1 die recognized by the client as such. A 2 die GPU, such as the GTX 690 has 2 dies and 2 folding slots. The GRID M40 has 4 dies and 4 folding slots. LARS takes the average of 1 die into account. On these GPUs, you would isolate your passkey to your best single die/folding slot, and then we'd use the LARS all OS Average. The remaining dies, if folded, would need to be setup with a separate passkey. The 3 categories are nVidia, AMD, and Wildcard. The permitted hardware will be based on the GPU being listed on LARS and a minimum of 500 submissions on the LARS database. If it's there, and has 500 submissions, it's permitted. If it's not, we will have to discuss it with the Team Captains before allowing it in the event. The September Champions have been added. Congrats to Out of Beta!
  9. That's pretty close to what the Captains were thinking too. So, that change will be likely made very soon and put into effect for next month.
  10. Well, I think it's time to post another little update about our folding team. This is the first time I have seen a list of 20 active folders on a non-event day, and we're surging through the folding rankings pretty quickly. Every little bit people do makes a difference, but we certainty have a few folders who are racing each other pretty hard at the top which are @firedflyand @Bastiaan_NLwho do deserve some recognition for their continuous efforts and dedication to our folding team and the folding@home project. The weather has cooled down in most places, so the folding is increasing. ETF is running full stride with a few looming issues continually being worked on, and our FATS are top 10 daily production now in the world. Our team is gaining momentum, and I think we have a real good shot at cracking the top 100 total points teams relatively quickly. So, thank you everyone! We're currently sitting at 26th in the world for our 24 hour average as well, so the mower will keep on mowing!
  11. Everything's updated now. Sorry for the delay.
  12. Seems cool for me so far. All I had come up was I had to update 1 driver for compatibility.
  13. We can carry on with our lives again with the ftw3 fan club thread.
  14. The answer to all of this is cleaner energy. I only need 2 windmills, maybe 3, and then I'm good.
  15. You know what, I'm boycotting your thread until it's fixed properly
  16. My eyes hurt because of @Bastiaan_NL's EVGA Thread embed...
  17. Oh man, now that's a valid thought.
  18. Join ETF. Long time, no type ole TC friend.
  19. It's about that time of the year to turn on your folding client and supplement your heat. I'm going to do another test run sometime this week in hope to break 100 million ppd as soon as some wiring shows up.
