  1. Yeah, tell me about it. I'm in the same boat man! However, today I'm going to fold and tweak the 3070 and the other GPU's for folding, and I'm going to go ahead and go all out for 2 days. I usually do 1 day, and then switch back. Projected earnings per month for me have been around $2,000. I ended up ditching all of the x16 extension ribbons. They just don't seem to work very well, even in PCI-e 3.0 mode. My x1 riser's working good though! Pretty big dip in PPD though, so I just plugged the display into it so I get full speed on everything else.
  2. I was wondering where the points were. Supercrumpet is dominating.
  3. Back on topic, have a little issue to report that I'm not real sure about just yet, but the risers I linked and bought worked great on my 2 1080tis, but I could not get them to work with my 3070 properly. I could boot, but when the driver would activate, Window's would unload it and flag it as not starting properly, black screen if it was the only GPU. I tried 3 riser extensions, another PSU, various slots, various drivers, and only GPU, but same result. Broke down the loop, put it into slot 2 directly, works. Bulky air cooler covers slot 3 now. I have 1 x1 left uncovered I will use for a ti. Since I have the 3080 in slot 1 and no longer vertical, I'm going to do more troubleshooting. I have a tt riser I was using with the 3080 that I can try. Edit: TT Riser Extension works. Going to try the new one again. and no, these will not work with RTX 3xxx. Runs my 1080ti fine though.
  4. As long as we're winning, looks good. ?
  5. I was going to post my whole grocery list, but... ?
  6. I decided to switch the whole idea around and utilize the test bench instead for my 4.0 main rig at x1. 3080 on slot 1, 3070 on slot 2, 1080ti on slot 3, 1080ti on x1 to x16 riser. I won't need a new PSU then. I have 6 plugs on the 1050w and 4 plugs on the bench. Perfect! Props to DHL! EKWB shipped the plexi tops for the ti's on Wednesday from Slovenia, and they arrive today for only 16 bucks in shipping cost. 3070 did not get to UPS yesterday, so now it will arrive on Monday. Thermal pads and fan controller Saturday. This gonna be dope! lol
  7. Probably not on Windows in a VM, but sometimes native it is. Not for your RX 580. https://folding.lar.systems/gpu_ppd/overall_ranks
  8. I'll drop a 1070 down to that slot and put it in the top slot at 16x 3.0 I can already see this turning into another GPU bench situation lol. Looped in though since the 3070's an air card. Man, it's been a long time since I bought an air cooled GPU! I think the last ones I bought were dual 460's in SLI which ended up being converted to H2O
  9. @AvacadoI have an open pci-e x16 @ x4 2.0 slot on my x370 board which is kind of strange. Do you think it will bottleneck it?
  10. bump since all the team threads are below this one

  16. Bench expansion almost complete. Got fittings coming tomorrow, plexi tops on Monday, and the Fan Controller Sunday. Very short run from rad to res and res to pump. Love that! Temp sensor on gpu inlet will feed into the fan controller. Fan Controller flush mount on front below GPU's. This isn't terrible at all! $15 on dowel rods and screws and $3 on paint.
  17. You're about as bad as @Simmons @Simmons
  18. What is it? Looks super slow.
  19. Parts + Syrup like a true Canadian!
