  2. Oh man, I'm catching up on all of these because of of the first 5 of this one.
  3. Everything when down briefly on mine. I had Soundblaster X7, Headphones Charging, a Keyboard and Mouse Powered Switch, Webcam, Xbox Controller, Wireless Xbox Receiver, and an External SSD. I was transferring a movie to the external SSD. Whole usb went down. Unplugged a few things, came back on.
  4. I just saw a 1070 go for 500, 139 more than i paid new for one 6 years ago.
  5. I was sitting here thinking this sounded great, but then I thought about all of the monthly subscriptions I have and how free sounds better, even if slower, in this case.
  6. Anyone else have ARM running Windows? I have a Galaxy Book S. I feel like that's flat out slow. Can I put Google on it and still hook into Verizon?
  7. I opted for a MSI Meg x570 Ace. Pretty great and I wanted those 3 m.2's lol Also fits sli with 2 more pci cards which seemed hard to come by on the Asus side.
  8. Maybe they should concentrate on producing more units while it's hot. Just sayin.
  9. Well, I think I'll switch the turbines over to folding tonight. Finally got most of this sorted, but gradually will be re-done.
  10. I'm just here to say the only AsRock I ever bought was doa brand new, but they've improved I've heard. Ever seen this? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1d9_E3h8bLp-TXr-0zTJFqqVxdCR9daIVNyMatydkpFA/htmlview?sle=true#gid=639584818 And https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wmsTYK9Z3-jUX5LGRoFnsZYZiW1pfiDZnKCjaXyzd1o/htmlview#
  11. Yeah, I was going to try and wait for an Optimus, but these are right with them now.
  12. MSI Ramdisk. I should try something else. That's a lot faster. That was my first time doing a ram drive.
  13. Looks like I made it to the Platinum Club! Can I make this a spolier somehow? 2 of 8 cores are capable of reaching maximum frequencies. Phoenix deactivated!

    Starlink

    Here's a pretty quick answer:
  15. I've just now realized how far I've come from this first loop lmao!

    Not a refugee

Oh, please do show us that old hardware! Is it DOS?
  17. I don't have terrible internet, but it's maxed out DSL on a bonded modem getting 50/10. Pretty impressive for my area; rural america. My other options are old school satellite or cell data. So, when I heard Starlink was targeting my coordinates in the tiny Laurelville, OH area, I was all about it after anubis1127 tipped me off to it. I signed up for the waiting list. I kept waiting for that email, but it actually didn't come. I randomly checked their site, and sure enough, they finally let me in! This is huge for my Wife and I because we are selling our home, my car toy, and then building a home. Every lot we found had even worse options for internet. I have worked from home for 5 years, so it's very important. I also made my mind up to settle for nothing less than we have here, so we had reached a little stalemate on our lot search, but this may be our golden ticket we've needed to make all of the lot options suitable with respect to internet. So, who else has it, or is waiting for it?

    5800x temps?

I already see 2.1 Beta results on the results spreadsheet, so I'd say that will be a while.

    5800x temps?

I'm not gonna derail the other topic, but I have ran CTR 2.0 RC3 multiple times and my conclusion is the program is far to buggy for Zen3. I have yet to get the program to apply any overclock it deems stable. The window just either bugs out and doesn't show the tables at all after tuning, or it just closes before I can even check, especially if you post results automatically. The c20 results were lower than my PBO OC too. So, I'll just hold off before trying it anymore.
  20. Testing now... Initial general suggestion was P1 1250mV at 4600 and P2 1325mV at 4675 and 4125 at 1125mV Raising dv to 1300mV and re-running.

    5800x temps?

Not yet, I will and will post in that thread.

    5800x temps?

Alright, I've played around with the PBO and All Core Overclocks quite a bit. I'm figuring it out, but when I use PBO, and AMD Overclocking Auto Voltage, the voltage is a bit ridiculous! 22% usage and 2 cores boosted and it's averaging 1.465v. My MSI MEG x570 Ace turns off boost if I manually set the voltage, so what's the key to reducing max voltage?
