  1. It certainly affects what I'm seeing... I've been told it can make you go blind
  2. Look's like FiredFly is it; but let me know when you guys definitely firm up who the winner and I'll put the order in for their prize. If it's FF, I already have his contact details.
  3. I'd like to offer an alternative to your point on SSDs, with real-world use case examples. I had the Samsung 980 Pro in my 12900KS/z690 system, and whenever Forza Horizon 5 would load the cars before the race, my game would stutter, 100% of the time at 4K. No matter what. Fast forward to now, I have the 990 Pro, not even a world-beater, and I literally never get stuttering on loads now. Ever. So I do find value in the newer SSD's, especially for games where it has to load heavy textures and stuff. For example, I ran the tests on 3dMark, and I got such a high score on the Storage benchmark that the system suspected I was cheating and made me re-run. 4. If AI was truly smart, it would know there was no need for porn ads if one visited porn hub often enough (at least ~18x daily?).
  5. bant for not banning; also coz: ...not sure i like having you watch me over my shoulder.
  6. It's a webp thing and It's likely still doing the same on your Pixel 6a; if you haven't cleared your phone's cache before checking for the image, you could be seeing a cached image. It'd really be best to wait for recommendations from E's @ENTERPRISEweb site developer by way of E before making any further conclusions. Following are essentially the same results using a synthetic Pixel 5 with the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. You just don't see a broken image icon like you do in Chrome: See this linked page if you'd like to know a little more about this stuff: stop saving image files as webp | Firefox Support Forum | Mozilla Support SUPPORT.MOZILLA.ORG
  7. I was able to replicate the issue by clearing my cache (CTRL+F5) before each version was loaded. @ENTERPRISE might want to share the following two screen caps and notes that follow with his developer: webp in mobile isn't handling the image source properly. Could be the file size of the origin source.
  8. NOT NECESSARILLY TRUE -- HAL 1955 HERE FOR IAMJANCO FROM OVER AT THE BANDOM ON OCN
  9. bant coz dr. pookie one stone, ca. ~1921 also coz i love seeing myself right write
  10. For the sake of clarification, it's one set of prizes that the top score gets (not three separate prizes). Also, the winner must be in possession of the physical hardware. IMHO, to be fair, cloud-based rentals shouldn't count.
  11. Meh, I paid something like ~US $380 and change for a 40MB La Cie hard drive back around 1990 or so. Thought it was the best thing since sliced bread w/butter at the time; and it helped me complete my college studies before I retired from the military back then. Anyway, it's all relevant (relevance over time, something dr. one stone might proffer). Today's $2,000 video card will be worth a fraction of that in a few years.
  12. I literally have never seen an ad on anyones site in probably 7 years so this is news to me. If you have an ad you want to see if I get shown on this site, feel free to challenge me Who is even in charge of OC.net these days? Seems like someone wants all that ad $.
  13. I'd be willing to donate a matching mug and coaster. Make that a matching mug, coaster, and hat.
  14. I have the Aeron currently and its great for 1-2 hour sessions but imo is not as good as some other options for extended 6-8-10 hour gaming sessions.
  15. in space, no one can hear you smell.
  16. The comments over there are the best part of this read.
  17. Not my game (yet), but imho the question may change from the proverbial but can it run Crysis, to but can it beat Crysis? System Shock on Steam STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM A first-person fight to the death in the depths of space! Pepperidge Farm will let you know once he's finished with his current tasking.
  18. Thank you, bud If gump was watching, he might say something like "life is like a run of copper hardline tubing" ...but the copper thing certainly has the potential to be included in the next phase
  19. Thanks for the sincere words, bud; and for you being you Anyway, it's alive now: I feel spent ( ). Some minor bugs I still need to work out, but it's ready for an OS. Oh, and after that, review testing.

  21. I got the same stickers, but opted for version one of the coffee cup, in red. I'll share pix in the near future when I'm less busy.
  22. hmmm... ughhh, best buds. what-to-do, what-to-do... while i'm not advocating it/them, in the interest of world piece and the price of a camel hoof in far-off lands, you guys should note: i did NOT book mark that song. ...now it's back to my regularly scheduled me
