Vast.ai is the cheapest I've found.  Individuals (or companies) will offer their GPUs to be rented out.  Pricing varies somewhat based on who owns the hardware and what hardware you are renting.  For the 4x3090 system that I mentioned, it was $2/hr.

 

I plan to make a post in the next few weeks with more details on how to get a Vast.ai instance folding and monitored by HFM.  It's not cheap for long term folding, but is quite handy at defeating @BWG and @Bastiaan_NL during the 2 days of the competition

Besides that, I've given up anyways cause it's impossible to beat @BWG straight up.

Truth. Leave it up to BWG to turn a competition into making everyone feel like they are going for scratch & sniff stickers at the bottom of a pool.

We just need to find some friendly chinese miner that cant mine anymore and ask them to help us out!

 

Easier said than done but imagine folding for a week with 1000 3090
