Yup.  Both my 1100T and FX 8350 are at 1.60v for their respective 24/7 overclocks on 240mm AIO's.  They both stay under 60*C load, and they're both absolutely rock solid.  So I see no reason as to why I shouldn't use that kind of voltage and the overclocks I have (4.2GHz on the 1100T and 4.8GHz on the 8 core).

On the flip side, I've killed SEVERAL 2500k's, 2600k's, 2700k's, 3770k's at "safe" voltages due to degradation.  Usually for me anyway, it was IMC failure.

Always heard of intel being weaker haha never killed a chip yet since i never want to kill them.

I think for 6GHz you'll need to get sub-zero. I know @Bones used dry ice to get there.

I got a trick i want to try. Ice filled bucket with the 360mm in it. Should be able to hold 5-20c cpu temp 😀

What I used to do was spray duster cans upside down into air cooler radiator but slush buckets are great too 😄

Those can are coldddd when upside down. That a great idea too.

Many ways to have good result. Sometime in the winter my bedroom is at like 8-12c because i forget my windows open and i like it cold 😆

RAM is one of those things that traditionally it either works or it doesn't.  At the very least I'd expect it to work, but crash at higher speeds.  The fact that it doesn't work at all (apparently?) at even DDR3-1066 speeds (533MHz), that's definitely a problem.  I agree with PCSarge, kinda sounds more like an incompatibility with the motherboard than faulty RAM, especially when you're trying less and less sticks to no avail.

Keep in mind too, you're NEVER going to see probably even DDR3-1866 with 4 sticks with an FX CPU.  You'll be LUCKY to see 800MHz (DDR3-1600) with the IMC of that CPU.

It's also possible your IMC is damaged on the CPU.  I'd lean towards that over the RAM being faulty honestly as I've killed MANY MANY an IMC on a CPU.

Late to the party here but I made it.
I have seen 2000+ with 4 sticks in use but check out the specs of the sticks I was running in the CPU-Z tabs, that being a big factor in this. Was my daily system on air at the time when I did this and knew to take an example screenie when I got it.
I believe I had RAM voltage around 1.72-1.75v when I did it, there was no need for excessive voltage. They did have air blowing on them, courtesy of my Scythe Susanoo CPU cooler. 😁

As for 6GHz on DICE, yes it can be done. Don't expect to see much over that, probrably 6.2-6.3 on average as a max speed with a few examples getting 6.5 or so but know the board and tweaks used matters as well.
Thing is any attempts at such will take time, you won't just hit the power button and "Go", even if you know what you are doing. Once you figure it out then you can do that but know results obtained do vary from chip to chip and once again, it's largely based on what tweaks are used and how they are done.

I rmaed the ram and waiting on some new about that.

Will see how far i will get with a 360mm aio with some ice block. Aint got Dry ice or ln2 in my plan for now. Just wanna see how far i can get. 😄

With an AIO and based on my own results with custom cooling on chilled I'd have to say 5.1-5.2 max under load. Disabling cores will let you go further but you won't hit 6.0 - I never did that way.

Ah well rip haha. Maybe without load i could get further.
