How to dial in a ultra-cool running linear fan profile in Polaris BIOS Editor?

I'd like to target 45°C but in the Polaris BIOS editor you can set legacy fan mode but then The Driver refuses to operate that point in Windows so you have to use Fuzzy Fan mode.

I want a Linear curve in Adrenalin Software Performance Tuning Fan Settings but I want it to go to 100% @ 45°C & have it start out at 30°C roughly @ 25% fan speed roughly.

Like this...

Vrm temp and memory is more important than Core temp. I would try to get 60c if i was you. Would probably help the curve.

Never edited any bios setting so i can't help on that side sorry.

Thanks man.  I finally dialed in a perfect fan curve & ps - 22.5.2 may damage Polaris cards if they are over-volted with the stock 105°C hot spot temp limit since 22.5.2 drivers don't allow the fan to be controlled nor does the fan ramp up when the card gets hot.  Only 22.5.1 is working correctly as of 6/18/2022.

Amd driver and software are real garbage. Was 100% Stable and now i got the new driver and the icon multiply itself without any error and folding doest not fail any work unit.

with my 6800xt.  I got custom fan too since the driver doesnt increase it even if i ddu and use any driver.

RIght on this was all done with BIOS modding, no adjustments in AMD Adrenalin Software.  That's cool man but yeah I'm sorry to hear your cards fan weren't ramping up enough, same applies to my RDNA 2 card.  I hope they release BIOS modding for RDNA 2 some day.

I had fan issue with 7950 / rx 480 / rx 580 / r9 290 / 6800xt

Wonder if amd just want their gpu to die faster 😐

Yeah me too man lol I had the same issue with NVIDIA & with NVIDIA they don't even have a Hot Spot limit or any limits of any kind except for power limits.  They don't implement them so they can lead in GPU performance but are more likely to fail than AMD cards because AMD at least has a Hot Spot Limit, a Core Temperature Limit, and a VRM Temperature Limit, not to Mention Hot Spot & Video Memory Temperature Limit on RDNA+ GPUs.

I'm loving this fan profile I dialed in though for AMD Polaris architecture.  It works amazingly well on every AMD Polaris GPU.  Just need to change the "MAX FAN SPEED RPM LIMIT" & "ACOUSTIC FREQUENCY LIMIT" to specify the cards specific capabilities like my RX 480 or the reference blowers in particular all put out max 5,300 rpm & you ideally want the "Acoustic Frequency Limit" to be the cards max boost clock, so it stays quiet if it isn't under full load & below the 56°C max fan speed temperature parameter.

It is essential to have the fan go full speed early because of the unknown value at idle & load of the AMD Polaris Hot Spot temperature sensor (which doesn't exist).  So the fan goes full speed under load @ 56°C & the hot spot as I have set to 84°C max limit for safety purposes since I have my card clocked higher than what is long-term-stable.  That way when it hits about 74°C core temp, I notice throttling of the core clock because the card is bouncing off it's theoretical rev limit ie the "Hot Spot Temperature Limit" @ 84°C.  I have all my temperature limits @ 84°C because it's the most magical thermal number & is the point at which silicon begins to become damaged beyond 84°C from my extensive research & development of vga bios hex modding.
