Hey all,

Title says most,   I've got an x570s master with a 5900x, and it wont post.  I'm gettings post code 43, which isn't listed in the manual, as well as a vga light.   Tried different gpus, no change.   Just wondering if anyone knows the definition for code 43.

Thanks!

I thought 43 was GPU driver issues. Have you tried a different PCI-e Slot? Which GPUs are you using?

Yeah thats what google gives me exclusively.   I run a 3070 in that rig,  i've tried a 5450 i use for testing in multiple slots, same results

Edit:   On a whim I tried some different ram and it posted, works perfectly.    I picked up the 5900x and ram secondhand and they had been working together perfectly, so I'm not sure how bad ram caused a vga light but either way,   its back folding.   Thanks for responding

Sometimes those codes are misleading. It is good that you had some other memory available to test. Weird that is was working and suddenly stopped. Changing the memory will reset NVRAM/CMOS. It would be interesting to see if you put the old memory back in if it would boot correctly now. I had an X570 Crosshair and 5950X for a while that would randomly fail to boot with Code 43 and clearing CMOS would make it behave correctly again. I would reapply my saved profile and everything would return to normal. I could never figure out why it did that, or what was randomly triggering it.

Thats a strange glitch too!   Turns out my issue was definitely a bad memory controller in my cpu.   I rebooted to install a ssd to test last weekend and it would no longer boot with memory above 2133.     I installed a 5800x and it was back to normal.
