The upcoming MSI TITAN 18HX is set to be powered by the Intel 14th Gen Core-HX processor and will be equipped with either the GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop or RTX 4090 Laptop GPUs. Our sources indicate that the TITAN will feature a 24- core Core i9-14900HX processor, although MSI has not officially confirmed the name. What is confirmed though is that the processor is expected to achieve a boost clock of up to 5.8 GHz, surpassing the i9-13980HX by over 200 MHz. The most interesting detail that was just revealed is the new 270W TDP mode for combined CPU and GPU power. In contrast to the previous TITAN’s 250W mode, this upgrade implies a 175W TGP for the graphics and a 95W boost for the CPU, a significant 40W increase from the default TDP. Importantly, this remains within the MTP (Maximum Turbo Power) limits set by Intel at 157W, but this will enable the CPU to sustain higher clock speeds for longer periods.

MSI has officially confirmed that the TITAN 18 HX will be accompanied by a 400W power supply, although no images are available. It can be reasonably assumed that the power supply will be sizable.
