The F032U2P is not the first monitor with DisplayPort 2.1, but it is the first to feature UHBR 20 connectivity. This monitor is based on a Samsung display panel with 4K (3840×2160) resolution with 240 Hz refresh rate. This is an QDOLED panel which is used by other high-end gaming monitors such as MSI MAG 321UPX, MEG321uRX, MPG 321URX, Dell’s Alienware AW3225QF or HP Transcend 32. Essentially, this means that the monitor has peak 1000 nits brightness and 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time.

Never noticed but those panel QD Oled are RGB pixel vs LG RGBW pixel. If am not wrong that mean they should have sharper text and even image at same resolution.

The monitor I wanted, but probably shouldn't buy... (My wallet is thanking me.)  I'm also hesitant with oled, though I think qdOLED is supposed to be better with burn in.

Don't worry about burn in. My lg oled as none after almost 3 years.

 

Just need to move icon and change wallpaper often. And use hide taskbar option.

That's not right. QD-OLED is worse than WOLED for burn-in. That's why people with LG screens haven't had any issues.

I heard qdOLED is worse for burn in.

That weird i think i read in the article or somewhere that it was better at burn in. Damn marketing lie haha.

 

Sad because the image must be sharper for computer use.

Let me preface this with my personal bias: I'm not a fan of Samsung, and have sworn-off their NAND devices.
However, I'll give the benefit of the doubt that it didn't start out as total marketing b$.
I'd bet that "Lab Results" with pre-production examples vs. real-world use/testing of mass-produced units, differed drastically. 

Yes, the testing process could've been built-around making the tech look good but, I'm still willing to see where this goes.
It'd be far from the first time the early-generation(s) of a display technology has some major shortcomings (or, seemingly apparent marketing tomfoolery)

A lot of people that complain about OLED burn in. Were not around or remember that early IPS and other display techs also had a ton of burn in issues. And with time they have improved. I have seen burn with pretty much every panel type. New or old. If you keep your display on 24/7 it's going to burn in eventually. It doesn't matter the panel type.
