Missing Sections From Homepage? - The Fix

I have received some reports of users who are still experiencing missing sections from the homepage, namely the "Latest" Posts & News sections. This seems to be a left over caching issue, fortunately it is easily fixed. 

 

You will need to switch between "Simple" & "Comprehensive" from the Theme Settings area. You will need to select whichever mode is unselected and hit "Save" , then revert to whichever mode you were currently using, hit "Save" again. That should resolve the issue and then you are free to select whichever mode you prefer and all the columns should appear on the homepage. If in doubt, please see the below video for instructions.

I was just investigating if one of my add-ons was causing the news/latest problem, when I stumbled across this post.  Thanks, that fixed it.

 

That's a really obscure setting for such a main feature of the site.
