That's a lot of cores!  I can't see ever spending 5k on a CPU though.

Thing is old xeon on socket 2011 still perform pretty well these days.

Wonder if those cpu will act the same in 15y

Higher boost then the 9800x3d. And quad channel memory. And more cache. They should make a decent gaming CPU.
