Gotta keep the stereotype alive and make sure everyone things Canadians are harmless so that no one sees us training our moose, geese and beavers for battle.

...you forgot the 'trained' bears , the raccoon and the Vietnamese pig (the latter not really Canadian, but why not, eh ?). This is an older (true) story; underlying events took place in my home province of British Columbia....

That video was great for my afternoon coffee break.  I've definitely never fed a wild bear, I've only handed my garbage bags to them while camping where we take our own garbage to the public garbage pile on the back of an ATV.

...those Dremel above will come in handy for mods for dual motherboards for this TT Core P8 I just picked up today at a great price locally (never mind the great weight of 40 lbs ? ) ..I already have a TT Core P5 (since late '18) and really like it.

...well thank you - did the Dremel thing to a brand new TT Core P5 as well; nothing is safe around here from my Dremel :classic_biggrin:

also: Nice Tesla GPU you got there / are the red lights a reflection, or is there RGB in there ?

I avoid TT myself simply because of what happened between them and CaseLabs way back when. I do appreciate what's likely your rationale for picking up the case though.

As for dremeling a case or anything else for that matter, I'm with you. Heck, I've been known to manhandle stuff with a jigsaw and hammer drill (still have an old BQ 900 Pro that I use as and end table to stack stuff on).

Thanks, sadly it's just a reflection of the ML140 fans in the main system. It looked so good I did not move it for the picture :classic_cool:

I'll try to swap the original heatsink for an MSI 980ti cooler soon, once it shows up from China, also figuring out a heatsink setup for the rear and maybe something for the front by using M.2 SSD heatsinks.

Yeah, I consider it a good deal for a little over €200 from Belgium.
There are not as much Tesla GPU's for sale over here compared to the USA, it felt a bit better to buy it from somewhere close.

And I'm not scared either to hack up new things, I've been paid to do it a lot of times too :classic_biggrin:

...fair enough, but I have had excellent quality experience with various TT items. Also, everybody seems to be copying everybody else (at least these days) in the case world...ie. Coolermaster's new Masterframe 700 is very TT Core P_ish, right down to the marketing, all the while claiming it to be 'new and different' (check TT Core P7...)

...as for Mr. Dremel, when I got the TT Core P5 a few years back, I wanted to find a way to mount 5x thick 360 rads and 4x free-standing D5s w/o showing much of it...the Dremel was invaluable for that. What is more, the TT Core P8 is related to the Core P5 re. some of the dimensions, so I already mostly know where and how to cut ?

...that doesn't necessarily make it right though 😉

Me, I'll be taking the scruples I've developed during the course of my somewhat longer life time to the grave with me. They're also among my primary reasons behind a lot of the stuff I put together and share online these days (e.g., the satirical stuff). I also do so like to make people laugh and have to admit I enjoy an audience.

(though I'm sure I'd be doing something else if there wasn't one)

Anyway, like I said, I appreciate your rationale for the purchase. It's a sure bet you'll make excellent use of the case 🙂

3 heatsinks for the back of the M40

3 extra risers for the workstation

And a few stainless bolts, nuts and nylon washers to mount the M40 backplate without the original cooler.

I dare you to run that in the TC... You won't :classic_rolleyes:

Only problem is I'll need to run the workstation 24/7, because that's the only air cooled system..

...air-cooled system, eh ? Both Amazon and AliExpress sell these bigger copper fin 'chunks', sometimes associated with audio amplifiers...I made my own though out of multiple M.2 heat sinks, but next time, I might go for those bigger amp copper fin setups and cut it to size, along with some Thermalright pads  ?

Interesting, that'll dissipate a lot of heat for sure!
