I think this is worth a double post. Thanks to@raynikI was able to purchase one of these from EVGA today: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=10G-P5-3899-KR

I'm also in queue at 10:01:38 for a 3090 Kingpin HydroCopper, so maybe next month or so I'll get that. Who knows.

Noice ! ? ...for the 3090 model, you may want to give some thought about extra cooling for the backplate, since 3090s have dual-sided VRAM. My 3090 Strix OC (w-cooled, w-custom backplate) is getting M.2 coolers w/ Thermalright strips on the weekend, in addition to the fans already there...does make an important difference w/ 3090s. I might add an active-cooled backplate from EKB later when it becomes available for the Strix...

lol, everybody posting their new video cards, and I'm going to Wally World in the morning for a new printer.... ?  Somehow my equipment feels justified wanting to know when it's gonna get splurged on.

Dude, tell me about it. I have completely given up on GPU's. It's not worth it. Unless one falls in my lap, i'm not doing anything other than catching a shuffle when I can. Pointless.

Nice 🙂

I'm ordering something similar tomorrow, albeit for a slightly different purpose:

flourescent-radioactivity.jpg.831d3e408b8e3b24f4cab6a1eb8d227e.jpg

I'll cut it into suitably sized strips to replicate this green effect in the items I've got in my display that contain fluorescent uranium (need 365nm wavelength):

Well, I think it's time to distinguish a PC between a cruncher. I almost put the 3080 in with the 1080 ti's, but it was just gonna be tacky.

In search of some good risers and a gpu bench.

As for a GPU bench, I suggest building one yourself. It is a fun project :classic_biggrin:

EVGA opened up their autonotify queue at 10AM PT for the KPE Hydrocopper block:

There were apparently a number of people hitting ctrl+F5 at the same time and as of now, I was the slowest to get in.

Must be because I'm ancient...
