The LG C1 finally shipped, should get it Wednesday.

One thing I didn't think of is going to have to find an HDMI 2.1 cable to get the 4k 120Hz. Any suggestions?

...I got 4 sets of these HDMI 2.1cables ('Trusted' is the brand)...steel-braided and sturdy - zero problems with either BigNavi of RTX3K attached to C1 OLED. I bought them here in W.Canada but am sure I've seen them at US retailers.

We do have a Micro Center here, just not convenient to get to. More of a planned trip.

...forgot to mention: I also have a Club3D 10 ft HDMI 2.1 that works flawlessly. Club3D should be more widely available where you are, and I have various other Club3D cables and adapters that have served me well over the years.

They totally have it wrong. That last image is of ACU's not BDU's. Sigh. Battle dress uniforms were jungle colored (Green, brown, black) with the pattern of those arctic and yellow ones above.

So my mom mentioned that if I had any extra computer stuff laying around she could really use a decent desktop PC for working from home since her work laptop is crap and her personal computer is a Macbook Air that won't run all the software she needs...

She requested just using spare parts if I had some and not to go out of my way to buy anything... I can create a surplus of spare parts if I buy myself new parts for my rigs 😉 Decided I'll give her one of my ITX boards and an 11400. Hoping to get myself a Ryzen 7700x to replace it.

I picked up a Louqe Raw s1 but decided it's maybe a bit too minimalist for her.  Also picked up a Phanteks Evolv Shift which I think will work great. Sort of similar design but it's a bit bigger and IO is accessible from the top. Just wanted something relatively small that didn't have a "gamer" aesthetic. Thermals aren't an issue since it's not going to be doing anything super intensive.

For my Sim rig update, I picked up a couple cases. An Asus Strix Helios and TUF GT501. I think the Strix looks nice, but I'm leaning towards the TUF since it has slightly better airflow and I want to run dual 360 rads.

I'm going to have to have a yard sale at some point... The office is starting to look like a Microcenter storage room

Just won an auction for this PSU. I'll get a build log going for the mom PC at some point. Also microcenter just dropped the z590 Dark to $200 so I'll go in and get a price adjustment and have $80 back to spend on PC parts 😊

Update:

PSU showed up and is an SF600 gold with the rubber cables instead of the platinum with the nicer sleeved cables... Deciding if I want to just accept that it's still a fine PSU and a good deal still or be petty and try and get a partial refund since it really isn't what was described. The listing used the model number and stock pictures from the platinum.

I have 3 builds to do so I'll breathe a little life into the build log section. I typically document everything on OCN but all the cool kids are here now.

If you need long cables I have both a 50' and a 60' of these:  https://www.amazon.com/RUIPRO-Dynamic-Flexible-Projector-Theatre/dp/B09GFXF6QZ/ref=sr_1_3?crid=UPOBK5UCP1P1&keywords=ruipro%2B8k%2Bhdmi%2Bfiber%2Boptic%2Bcable&qid=1660083793&sprefix=ruipro%2B%2Caps%2C262&sr=8-3&th=1

Flawless opertion at 4k 120Hz.

Not my latest, but definitely the most anticipated.  Delivered today, sitting on my front deck waiting for me to get home. :wheee:
