Turing Part Deux - RTX 2060 / S poised for a 'comeback'?

Not sure if this has already been covered, but there are persistent rumours that the NVidia Turing RTX 2060 - and possibly the RTX 2060 Super - are about to be reintroduced to the market (pass the salt). Still, the tried-and-true 12nm Finfet process might just help to plug persistent supply shortages of the newer 8nm (and some 7nm) RTX 3k, at least for the segment the RTX 2060 covers. Some rumours also have the RTX 2060 Super joining the resurrection party, while others suggest it will only be the 'regular' RTX 2060

 

...can a re-branded 2080 Ti be far behind ?

Bit late to the party but I am not so sure they are going to do this, I am yet to see Nvidia do something like this for its consumers.

It might simply be for OEMs. Not really sure and seems odd. I suppose if they can get some capacity for 12nm it kinda makes sense, but I don't know. At that point might as well bring the rest of Turing out too why not?

Possibly OEM. Yeah why not bring out a 2080Ti Super haha.

I wonder if the idea to do lower end cards was to avoid miners grabbing them?

 

Either way, does no good if they are going for that kind of price. It will only work if they start flooding them. 2060 could be a decent enough holdover card if you are on older stuff like Maxwell.

Agreed,there were people selling items like that for a couple hundred dollars but in the description it said "DO NOT BUY UNLESS U ARE A BOT! PICTURE ONLY!!" lol

I’ve seen those and I’ve seen the “box only” auctions. The piece of a graphics card auctions are good too lol description on this one is short and sweet. I bought one just in case, but it looks like eBay has since deleted the auction. As suspected, too good to be true
