Yea did that once with Msi i was like i somewhat killed it myself but not sure and they rmaed the mobo i love Msi since. I know that the fx cpu are not going to run high memory clock but i just wanted the memory stick because i had the same set on my 4790k more freedom with setting too. Anyways that rigs is just for playing around then will probably store it somewhere in a box as my overclocking training tool for noob. And i want to break 6ghz Thank you everyone for the help

Rip at least i haven't paid that much. Cpu-z do show some jedec setting that should boot. I tried 1.65v 1066 without success. I could try an rma it lifetime warantly but i feel cheap about it since i don't know what happenend. Wonder if gskill still has any high performance ddr3 ram in inventory

Tested 1 ram stick did not even want too boot with memok. Then tried with another one in the same slot and just ran 800mhz. Now my friend just tested on is gigabyte 970a and no boot at all. Those ramstick probably overheated or something it strange maybe a surge damage.

Will probably try the other board today. Il report back how it go. I have to run memok to boot at 800mhz.. Meanwhile am gonna switch back to my 2x2gb and try to overclock them so i can bench with a realistic ram speed

My friend as 2gen fx with a gigabyte mobo will ask him to try them Maybe the fact am running first gen fx is an issue too.

That could be the issue. Did not think about the imc being into the cpu like intel. Got other cpu around i will try. This cpu saw 1.62v on air so maybe he not that happy but he ran 1333 before 2x2gb

Arma was never really about graphic more about large open world. And not a cod or bf hitbox, point and shoot kind. Bullet deflection and penetration depending on caliber. Artillery / jet / helicopter / submarine. In short this I never enjoyed cod. And battlefield after the 2-3-4 i got bored. But arma i never get bored of it haha.

Forgot it 4x4gb not 2x8gb. Tried 2x4gb without any improvement will retry with just 1. Will check for a bios update but still strange that it won't even boot with manual timing.

The part i don't understand is a 60hz oled is smoother and as less blur than a 120hz lcd if you look at review on youtube 03:30 he start talking about motion Blur. High refresh rate is to reduce input lag and blur if am not wrong. -
I bough 2x8gb ddr3 2400 gskill used from someone and for some reason it boot at 2x400mhz (800) mhz and i can't even boot at 1066 1.65v cl10-12-12. Anyone ever got degradded ram? Motherboard is a m5a99fx evo with a fx 6100.

Cpu wise i think your better to run Boinc client with work Unit from Rosetta@home if you have lot of ram. Or sidock for covid. Many other project to choose from too. Clustering is not something that supported of what i know.

I just build mine and my gpu already selling for 2x less . At least i may be able to swap a 13900k not sure yet. All in for the new naming scheme

I think it could work my hdmi 2.1 run 4k 120hz Don't think i have the dsc feature. 4k is 4 time 1080p if am not wrong. 10-12bit and no hdr could work at 1080p 480hz

Make me remember my friend that i asked a gpu once and he like i got a 3d rage pro from 1995 and am like i got a pci slot it could work and i booted into windows 8.1 with it i still got the gpu z picture somewhere. -
