Nah setting those work fine and even crossfire is impressive at high resolution. Their some benchmark of direct x 12 multigpu scaling with dual 6800xt. Fee game support it. But the amd app for some reason hate me. Set res to 4k 10bit 120hz. Install new driver. Default to 4k 8 bit 60hz cant change it. Move cable from tv port and it fixed itself like what? Fan setting never stick for long. I updated my hdmi cable to a real 2.1 And ddu Am sure i can crash the app be just changing fan setting and res setting too many time . Maybe it a curse. Still like my 6800xt except some driver issue.

As an enthusiast that used Eyefinity Surround VR and 4K 120hz The nvidia panel is 10000x more stable than that piece of crap amd thing that crash and never hold any setting from 7950x2 crossfire to rx 480 rx 580 and now my 6800xt. I miss my 1070 Ways overcomplicated going around the amd setting. Remind me of Xfire and Raptr thing

I bent a micro atx once to fit a 1000w psu hahaha. Those amd gpu are great. 100mhz is almost 10% gain in fps

Thank you both for the help! Did not know for the physx thing did see the option in ddu and the file in some window folder. Motherboard up to date. It a Sapphire 6800xt Pulse but doesn't seem to have any bios update. Did not even think about the bios switch just checked it so small i never saw it For some reason it run stable now. I put TDP to default in Msi afterburner. Maybe my card is borderline stable at stock clock. Gonna try the other bios right now I tried running rage mode in amd control center with default setting and it was doing the same thing when brand new. Sorry for hijacking thread il report back in some days.

Being thinking about that delid kit. I got a 360mm aio for 80$. Going custom or a 420m with delid would give me enough temps range for 1.4v but no idea how long degradation gonna take at those voltage. Those chip are fun to play with In the past i delidded my 4790k and it was worth it but it was paste instead of solder.

DId not fix my own issue. Just crashing a different ways. Those driver are crap. Saw report of youtube crashing for some people. 1k gpu + having those issue make no sense. At least it fixed your problem Minotaur. 6800xt for sale soon. Exhausted of amd.

I gave up with amd with my current 6800xt. Record sale, and got out of any trouble. The gpu as being out since almost 2 years. And i get black screen with their new whql driver on my desktop. Meanwhile the old driver just freeze on desktop instead And fan control at default run the gpu at 85c while custom keep it at 100% 45-55c Meanwhile my mobile 1050ti being folding for month without issue. 6800xt average ppd is like 1.8m a real joke.

Should arrive pretty fast with intel Big/Little design. Was time since the i7 980 that 6 core was released then 8 core with the 5960x. And amd FX

My 4790k at 4.7 was doing about 950 r15 and 965 at 4.9 i think. If you want to switch to intel the x79 and x99 bundle are cheapppp on Aliexpress. Cheap board but i had two and they worked fine except usb 3.0 driver that are crap. FX cpu do score higher than intel counterpart in integer benchmark of the same years. But most software is floating point. I remember a video on youtube that the 8350 vs 4770k and the fx was beating the intel while recording and gaming at the same time.

Arctic cooling support is pretty great send me free mx4 once because mine was acting strange. Had bad luck with their cheap fan acting like sleeve bearing and grinding when horizontal. But just got a 80mm from them and it quiet and push ton of air being running horizontal for like a month 24/7 at full blast no issue Noctua as some high performance 2k rpm 140mm and 3k rpm 120mm in Grey if am not crazy
