Was looking at that one actually but also got Intel Killer 2.5G problem Nic.

Sadly every motherboard vendor does poor job on the software of controlling RGB/Fans. Gigabyte GCC is not much better but less issues than Crate imo. I do like SignalRGB for RGB etc. tho. Works nicely.
-
Maybe, but there is not that many mobo's lol. I do like the MSI MPG X670E CARBON WIFI tho but that one has Audio issues with the audio chip. The only one left is the ROG boards but the risk of having another bad experience with ROG is high and their software Armory Crate is still horrible i heard.

Depends how much voltage it needs, i have an custom 360mm loop so cooling wise i should be good. yes but -15 doesn't do anything so its not worth testing. I also am 100% sure its not my CPU cos running that setthing since i have this CPU with no issues whatsoever. I am running it at -20 now tho instead of -22. If the Aorus Master did not have the Intel 2.5G Nic i would have bough it tho. So sad but nothing we can do unfortunately.

My main problem with the ROG Crosshairs was that the fan headers stopped working as the ItE controller was broken or there was something with the BIOS that has EC implementation. They fixed a lot on the Crosshair x470 hero tho and the read points were a lot better and the board also performed better. Due to Elmor (John Sandstrom) From ROG we got this new x470 board cos we had so many problems and they actually fixed what we said was broken. Later he left the company sadly so the R&D went backwards and not a word from ROG again. Anyway, I run the same RAM CPU OC and haven't changed anything. I do not OC the CPU only put it to -20 or -22 in curve optimizer and never had an issue with it. The CPU simply doesn't boost to 5.750GHz only when doing nothing so its pointless imo. I might get to 5.6GHz manual OC to get it more stable and or better performance and lower power draw, idk. I tried to sell my AMD system tho but most of it think its too much money and want me to send it first and then they send the money lol. I am NEVER gonna do that as people are not trustworthy. Anyway, i think i have to stick with AMD for a while since they will iron these ram and other issues out i am sure. I do want another board like the Aorus Master cos i need/like the features better on that board but the downside is is that it has the hateful 2.5G Intel Nic that keeps shutting off and on.. MY FX-8350 was running 5GHz also with 2400MHz RAM lol. Just pushing the voltages up and some minor tweaks and it worked for me. I even did an almost 5.4GHz bench in the winter when it was cold lol. Reached an 10348 physics score which was impressive on water cooling lol. I stil have the screenshot somewhere.

Good to hear for you, makes one of the few actually without issues. I am not constant complaining, i provide feedback as well and i did do numerous of testing and post results here too. The "AMD beta tester" was a joke T-shirt of a friend from the US who also had issues and went Intel.
-
I tested my CPU in everything i have OCCT, IBT AVX, Prime95 how much programs do you want me to run? xD. Like i said before, i am not new to overclocking, only "new" to Ryzen 7000 series. I tried many more other settings but for some reason it keeps being unstable.
-
I tested with everything and it was stable so idk how to test. I mean, so many people have the same with AMD that nothing seems stable and no one know what its causing. I don't agree with Jay that many times but he doe shave some valid points here. I mean, the problems are here since x370 era and they still haven't fixed or done anything to fix it. Takes them forever to get their thing together and i am done being a beta tester for AMD man.
-
I did and nothing showed up. Everything was normal. A friend i asked also used it for his brother he's a DJ.
-
I remember that too! I had that same exact problem, idk why but it happened. I do have na ROG keyboard, might be that ROG and Aorus clash with each other lmao. On the other hand, why adding so much USB ports when you can only use partial of it xD Kinda stupid imo and says something about AMD quality imo. Like i said, if i can get good price i am Intel man, i am so done with these AMD issues and quirks.
-
what am i looking for in this latencymon? I mean i see latencies but how and what does this work? xD
-
That is a valid point. Do you have the same LAN than me? I have Realtek 2.5G. What latencymon program you talking about? Google search showed me several lol. Can you post a link plz.? OH i did learn a lot with AMD man i can tell you that lol. I mean, if even the Engineers don't know you know there is a real problem lol. AMD is just too sensitive to EVERYTHING. Its ridiculous.
-
I did figure it out, its the AMD AGESA Code. These problems date back to my 1600x chipset x370 era. Same issues, different platform. Idk why AMD has so much problems with system memory. They will figure it out eventually but it takes too long. This is why the platform lasts longer than Intel cos they need the time to solve their problems. I don't mind beta testing but give me the product for free and i test for ya and provide feedback. It is not okay to use people as beta testers for an product that should be finished already. Intel has none of these issues on DDR5 so its not DDR5, its the laziness of AMD "engineers" Sorry for the rant but this is how i feel about it. I just don't like it being screwed and AMD is most certainly doing that. I am 100% sure they can fix this but they simply do not care it seems.
-
You are right tho, i used it just for testing. I disabled it now. The problem is ram. Few days or weeks its stable and the other day it just freezes on me for no reason. It begins with mouse tracking issues which after a reboot disappear. The latest BIOS completely locked up for me so i send this info with video to Gigabyte for them to send it to Taiwan. I already put an add on my AMD system man, if i can get a good price i will sell it and buy Intel. I am done beta testing for AMD, sorry not sorry.
-
Yes there is an IGPU in it. I have no drivers installed for it tho as i only use it for my second screen. Thnx for the update tho.
-
Nah, im running -20 atm. This is PBO tho. curve optimizer. I flashed the new BIOS but for me its the worst ever. When i tried to search in the BIOS it locked up completely and had to turn PC off via PSU button.. I mean, this is enough for me man. I know what the culprit is and that is AMD man. Been like this since the beginning and they still haven't fixed it. I can run any benchmark you can think of and be stable but out of the blue get lockups for no reason. This is an AMD issue that persist for a long time now. I put my system up for sale cos there is nothing i can do about it really so tweaking further is useless. If i can get good price i go intel man, i don't have the time nor patience for this anymore, im sorry.
-
It makes no sense and i can only come up with poort coding on the AMD side. I am with Ryzen since the beginning and all i can say is they never fixed anything as the problems are all there only on a different platform. I pass everything 6400MHz but all of a sudden my system just freezes. Its not only the hardware tho, software also doesn't seem to like Ryzen systems as lots of 3rd party software slows down the system quite a lot which is not the case on Intel. I mean, i like my system but i am so tired of these problems that no one knows how to solve but AMD...
-
Idk why or what but every now and then i get this weird lockups.. Its the same i mentioned before.. I go back to 6000MHz again tomorrow with 64GB and see how it works. Many people report the same ands a friend could not get rid of this and had to sell it and go Intel due to these issues. Idk what is causing it but its so weird. Stresstest no problems but in programs it crashes or locks up for no reason. Its an AMD issue i am sure but no one knows what is causing this erratic behavior. It dates since the beginning of Ryzen tho.. stange they still havent ironed it out completely.
-
That is wishful thinking lol. For me several things changed included how the BIOS looks: With the bios also came an issue with core isolation and memory integrity. I fixed it by turning off virtualization. Other than that, boot times are shorter, training is shorter too. Performance wise idk yet.
-
Great, Thnx for the info man! I will keep an eye open. New bios for my board too! X670 AORUS ELITE AX (rev. 1.0/1.2) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global WWW.GIGABYTE.COM Lasting Quality from GIGABYTE.GIGABYTE Ultra Durable™ motherboards bring together a unique blend of features and technologies that offer users the absolute ... should i flash it?

I agree tho, Linus is probably one of the worst imo. Gamer's nexus one of the best same with hardware unboxed. They seem to be the best to follow nowadays. Jays2cents is just a weirdo which a lot of people like so he gets the views from there. Buildzoid is smart but indeed he sounds so annoying and he contradict himself several times in one clip. He does have some kind of autism tho so that would explain it.
-
that will take another year for my board xD I asked Giga-rep and he doesnt know either... Its a mess man.
-
Ye i had that problem too back in the days and it seems its appearing again.. I am on the latest AGESA bios now and loading the previous 6400 fast settings and see again. Still haven't got the newest AGEsa 1.0.8.0
