well just as i expected, my system became unstable again for no apparent reason... I passed every stress test but all of a sudden system became unstable first my mouse cursor became erratic than i when i did sfc /scannow it had corruption which is repaired. Now my system hang 2 times on me.. What can this be? I mean, i did not change anything at all... It was so stable too i don't get it.

Aha okay, did not know that. I used it for a while then i got bored cos on paper it looks nice but i did not see any gains so i just left the CPU at stock just as i do now lol. The only overclock for me would be running 5.750GHz but it won't run it cos i already checked it. 5.5 maybe 5.6GHz all core but that is like 500MHz higher than what i already have. Running 5.5GHz most of the time anyway when needed.
-
why not using Ryzen master instead tho? I used it before and it can do wonders.

I never buy Asus ROG motherboards again.. Ton of issues with them and they do not care about their customers man. Went Gigabyte and couldn't be more happy tbh. ROG is just over priced for what you get too and their software is the worst in the world. Sorry, no hate just observation and personal experience with the brand.
-
Running fine and passed everything i throw at it. Pretty happy tbh.
-
Ah yes. Well, i actually undervolt my CPU to get more performance lol. I just set my curve optimizer to negative 22 for the voltage and its good to go. I tried manual OC but its not worth it imo.
-
Does this guy still live tho? I mean, last time i spoke him on twitter he was in a bad place in Ukraine. I hope he is okay, haven't heard from him for over a year.

Ye i tried even lower but as of now i am more than pleased with the results. Everything feels so snappy and quick. I love latency more than bandwidth but i wanna do more graphical work like in Davinci resolve and other programs like that and i saw that 32GB is not that much when working in those programs so i mighty use the other kit with this new RGB kit i have. I wonder what timing i can expect as i have to set the timings manually when using 4 sticks cos there is no profile to select (the lazy way) lol. nice result tho.
-
Okay, Well i am relatively new to DDR5 overclocking so i learned something lol. Buildzoid said 50k is best for 6kMHz RAM as its the "sweet spot" I changed it to the max and got even better result on both 6 and 6400MHz, so, yeah lol. Lower than this are the timings not gonna be so this far is the best i can get. I am happy ofcos so i don't have to change anything as this is also the limit bandwidth of my cpu as far as i seen on the net.
-
New high, or rather low score as the latency is lower lol. only thing i changed was from auto to 65k refresh, the maximum. tFAW cannot be lower than 20 sadly as the bios won't let me.
-
@kaliz What do you think is possible with 4 sticks of RAM? I mean, i can sell the other kit or have it as spare, but more ram is better lol.
-
Well, these E core CPU's do perform wel tho. Still a bit weird architecture for sure but they work. BZ is rambling too much so i don't listen that much to him lol. you really think it will work? I mean, i think i am already at low latency.
-
Its a bit weird indeed but it works. The E cores do all the light work so the P (power) cores have enough recourses to do the hard labor lol. Its basically becos they cannot make stronger cores so they have to add E cores in order to be super fast. He also disabled E cores and it still stomps, Intel chips are an engineering masterpiece to be honest. Memory is much less of a hassle according to him, but idk, he always has been on Intel so. He had AMD system x570 and it had so much issues that he sold it and went to Intel, he says its a much better platform but i doubt that cos that platform is already dead and i can have another CPU refresh lol. My latency is actually on par with his 8K MHz ram lol. Quite impressive. I do want to change something but its running so fine now that i don't dare to lol. I would like to see less latency on AMD side and better IPC. Overall performance is great and we could use more cores indeed.
-
Correct, I heard from The Stilt i believe too and an AMD engineer ( i am bad at names) also talked about this. This is why higher speed ram and high FcLk is more important on CPU's with high core count and double CCX. Past 6400MHz, i doubt i will see any difference cos of the lower cache compared to higher clocked CPU's. A friend of mine has an Intel and those are so different than AMD i mean, i know they are different brane etc. but they are so powerful and scale so well compared to AMD. He has an 14700k now and its an amazing piece of engineering to say the least.
-
Thnx, Ye i hear such a thing that there is always an penalty with duo CCX CPU's. I heard multiple people about it and latency is the most important thing for me so i guess i made an good choice.
-
That good huh? Good to hear man! All thanks to you guys really! I am very happy with it, never had a single issue so far. Passed everything.
-
Yes correct, and other apps also draw the latency down quite drastically. This is my best result so far: I think its pretty good.
-
thnx man. idk what Aida bench i had, will do couple of runs tomorrow and some other timings. I think i will get mid 60s tho. I think its pretty good compared to what other people could do what i seen wit te same chip.
-
yes correct,. I am not planning on getting more ram tho, i just curious as to how it will run when i insert the other non rgb kit with this new kit.
-
Thnx man, I do think i have a nice CPU, ram and motherboard combi tho cos 2133FclK is not too shabby imo. 6400MHz cl30 is need too. I tried the other more tight timings but for some reason i couldn't boot anymore so i went back to other timings and been stable ever since. Still need to test 64GB tho but perhaps better on new AGESA.
