  1. Neato, I have one of those. I've never even tried to overclock it.
  2. Might as well go all out and buy 6x 2080Tis ?
  3. I just want more range. Speeds are more than good enough for almost everyone. With the way I have things set up now, I don't have WiFi where my Lexus is so I effectively have no internet when I'm working on it. Mobile internet isn't really a choice either, while I do technically have it, ping is upwards of 500ms, download is up to 0.5Mbps and upload is up to 0.02Mbps which isn't good enough.
  4. Just got a new WU after doing that, and I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or not but this is a good 400K PPD more than I get on average with WUs and about 150K PPD more than the highest I've had so far.
  5. I don't even know what they are lol. I've only been folding for a little over a month now. I did try back in 2010/11 but gave up because it was complicated to set up.
  6. It's been about the same for me. I'm getting 5-6 WUs a day giving me an actual PPD of around 450K-540K whereas the estimate when I actually have a WU is 1.2-1.3M.
  7. Congrats everyone, and thanks E for arranging the prizes :thumbs_thumbup:
  8. That link seems to take it to the homepage rather than the selling page. Maybe this works.
  9. For the badges when they do get implimented, what making them start for 10M points, 20M points, 50M points, 100M points, etc.? Those seem like reasonable goals these days and it won't make our profiles look like this after a week It has taken me around a month to get to over 10M points with my RTX 2070 though.
  10. Have you seen the upcoming Ryzen 3100? $100 (so around £110) for 4c/8t. That would probably limit your motherboard choice, or maybe even not even an option but it might be worth taking a look at. EDIT: Nevermind, just saw you've already purchased a motherboard.
  11. The thing is, it's not even an issue with making the phone slimmer. My iPhone 11 is more than thick enough for a headphone jack, they just decided to not put one in. It's nothing to do with being water resistant either, there are plenty of water resistant phones out there with them. It's just to sell proprietary hardware.
  12. If this is a dedicated folding rig, why a 256GB drive? You can pick up a 120GB M.2 (SATA) drive for around £30 or regular 2.5" drive for around £25.
  13. Not to mention everyone who is going to fold for this competition already is. The prizes here are a lot better than the prizes on the other forum so all of those who are going to make a switch already has. 5x premium accounts (which lets be honest, just about everyone there already has one) 3x $25 cash 1x $50 cash vs InWin 940 Corsair gaming headset $25 Steam gift card 4x $25 cash 5x premium accounts.
  14. Just buy a Fanatec Clubsport setup instead.
  15. I can't remember what game it is, but I do know there's one game that "shadowbans" users who use cheats. It ends up putting them in servers with each other.
