  1. That makes sense then for the shareholders to be upset that they're being lied to, but I still don't get the hate they're getting from regular people on the internet who aren't shareholders. Intel might not be releasing 7nm, but they are still releasing 10nm CPUs that perform better than the predecessors for around the same price as the predecessors.
  2. Anyone tried the new GT4 DLC for ACC? I have looked at it and it does seem fairly decent, but it's too expensive IMO. It cost more than all 3 Porsche Packs for AC combined while having less vehicles at similar quality. I'm going to buy it, just not at full price.
  3. Not just 2020, they've been having a bad time since Ryzen released. I don't think there are very many people still buying Intel CPUs for custom builds unless they're going for 9900Ks. Then again, I don't really know how much money Intel was getting from these people anyway compared to OEMs that buy hundreds of thousands of CPUs from them.
  4. I don't really get the hate that Intel is getting for sticking to 10nm for so long. Why does it matter? As long as the CPUs are improving performance while staying the same price or getting cheaper, it doesn't make a difference.
  5. NavJack is back for this episode after leaving for anger management classes. We talk about the Nintendo Gigaleak, The Intel Core i9-10850K, about how Nvidia might be interested in buying ARM, how Garmin was hacked and held for ransom and a bunch of other stuff. ENJOY!
  6. There are, but I've given up on watching the full races because I already know what's going to happen and that's most of the fun. I've changed my Twitter location to Indianapolis to avoid the spoilers, it worked pretty well last season, but not anymore. I'm getting a bunch of people showing up in my feed live tweeting the race. Watching the races live isn't possible either.
  7. Not really, I've just been watching the highlights on youtube.
  8. Twitter for the most part. Also I got it ngl the magic bar or whatever they called the screen that replaces the F keys is pretty neat. I thought it would be a gimmick but it's actually useful.
  9. I made an purchase that may or may not have been wise. I'll have to see in a few years.
  10. Not sure exactly, but I'm pretty sure it would require soldering as it was intermittent for a few weeks before it finally stopped working completely. I've already got the DT1770 Pros now, I don't think it's going to be easy to go back to 770s ?
  11. I completely forgot about this. I had reasonably weather to do it as well. Congrats to Bastiaan_NL and 468
  12. That would be nice, but I don't see it happening. It took the EU courts to get phone manufacturers to start using USB ports on phones to get them away from proprietary connectors. There is no chance something like that is going to be done about computer power supplies that less than 1% of the population have.
  13. I've just realized I have a modular PSU from a reputable company so I can probably just buy a new cable lol I may upgrade to a 3080 depending on price, I thought a 2070 would be sufficient for 4K, but it's not. I get 30-35fps on medium settings in RDR2 at 4K.
  14. If it does have the 12 pin connector, I'm absolutely not going to get one. I spent nearly £100 on my PSU a little over a year ago, I'm not going to buy another one for a new GPU.
  15. It's that time of the week again!
  16. The issue with the OG PS3s is the terrible solder that would melt, they were manufactured at a time when the EU said no more lead solder, it's not an issue specifically for the PS3, I believe the OG 360 RROD issues were also caused by this. It's not just game consoles either, any electronics that ran hot back then had the same issue. If you're good with a soldering iron and you use modern solder, you can fix them pretty easily.
  17. Update: K3 sounded the same, I'm returning it and just going to use the motherboard onboard DAC and the Pioneer A-300R Precision with the DT 1770 Pros.
  18. This was all the same person/group as well. The bitcoin address in every tweet was the same. They managed to get 12.86 bitcoin, or about $115K out of it. This bit is concerning though. No employees should have access to credentials that allows you to log into other peoples accounts.
  19. This update is a bit disappointing for me. Doesn't really add anything I use.
  20. I did buy some spacers for the wheels so they could fit over the brake calipers, the spacers fit fine but with the wheel on, it pokes out an illegal amount so I need to send them back. I'm going to just keep the stock wheels. That does mean I can't get Michelin Pilot Sport 4s or any other high performance summer tyres though. I'm either going to get some Bridgestone Turanza T005s or Goodyear EfficientGrips.
  21. My DT 770 Pros broke on the right so I bought some DT 1770 Pros. I'm using a Pioneer A-300R Precision with it on my desktop, I bought a FiiO K3 that I'm going to use as a DAC because I like to imagine it's better than the built in DAC in my motherboard. If it's not better I can just send it back and carry on doing what I'm doing now.
  22. Oh, that wasn't a thing when I had my PS3 Slim. Putting in a PS2 disc just gave an error. But either way, I do think getting aftermarket TIM would be a good idea for any PS3. Even when my PS3 Slim was brand new, it ran really hot.
  23. It's a shame these PS3s don't have the backwards compatibility of the first few PS3s. Those had actual PS2 hardware in, I believe they could play PS1 games as well because of it. The newer PS3s only had backwards compatibility with the PS1 through software emulation.
