  1. https://www.techspot.com/news/85144-amd-next-gen-zen-3-compatible-amd-b550.html It is nice to see AMD still doing this sort of thing.
  2. Not officially, the mod is very good though. It even works with the motion controllers so you can aim the guns. The only real issues with it is when you use the sniper rifles. The creator of the mod is working on that though.
  3. Every person I've seen complain about VR being terrible has either never used it, or used their phone with that Google Cardboard thing. The only legit problems I've heard from people who have used proper VR instead of their phone is the resolution is too low (first gen headsets, the Vive Pro and Valve Index improve on it significantly) and the FOV is too low (the Index does improve on that).
  4. I cancelled this and ended up getting the 49" model. It's a bit bigger than I was expecting and also I don't need a third monitor anymore. I've effectively got 4x 24.5" 1080p monitors plus some old Dell that I can't remember the name of but is in my sigrig.
  5. I suppose it doesn't matter all that much. Microsoft are treating the Xbox basically like a PC these days, the Series X has full backwards compatibility with the Xbox One/One X as well as hundreds of original Xbox and Xbox 360. And yeah, the Xbox doesn't have exclusives any more. They're are Microsoft exclusives now. All Xbox exclusive titles that have been released after 2016 has been available on Windows 10 as well.
  6. Yeah, it does take quite a while for their drivers to actually be good. I had an HD 7950. It launched in 2012 and the drivers weren't good until 2015ish.
  7. I buyed an TV so I can have 3 monitors
  8. I'm not. I'm using a 2070 at the moment and it's more than enough for what I need. Unless my 2070 breaks out of warranty, I'll be likely to only buy a 50 or 60 series card.
  9. Source Hopefully this means they can dump a bunch of money into GPUs. I want GPU competition again, I didn't really like spending £450 on a mid-range GPU over a year ago.
  10. Well, the 2060 and 2070 have RT so I'd say nVidia aren't keeping it high-end only. But I suppose it depends how AMD prices it. If their high-end GPUs are priced the same as the 2070/2070 Super then I don't really see it as being a problem. It would be a problem if they're priced similarly to the 2080 Super/2080Ti.
  11. Source I've heard the navy seal one and it's actually really good. There's a couple of examples linked in the article. It's not 100% perfect but it's pretty good.
  12. Source Had to cut the title short because someone at WCCF decided to make the title a paragraph.
  13. That's a pretty good sponsor you got there. I didn't even know overclockers.co.uk was a retailer, I thought they were a tech news website/forum :lachen:
  14. Source Camera war :wheee: At least manufacturers aren't trying to one up each other with dumb things any more like making their phone 0.1mm thinner than the competition.
  15. Yeah, I have all of the important things. I managed to get some sheep after taking the screenshot. I do also have a mine there that's not very obvious. It's the small square fencing at the bottom left.
  16. Yes. No one likes it for some reason.
  17. I just don't overclock anything anymore. I just can't be bothered to do it. The last time I did overclock was when I still has my Phenom II because it needed to be overclocked to get games to run decently. I replaced that in 2017. I'm not even going to overclock my R5 1600. I'm just going to replace it with an R7 4700X when they release.
  18. My actual PPD has gone up by like 200K points since doing this. Not only am I getting more points per WU, I'm also getting/sending WUs a lot more frequently. I do only have it running 12-15 hours a day though. My estimated PPD has gone up from ~1.25M to ~1.7M.
