  1. This is the kind of issue that could really be anything. If it's a hardware issue, it's definitely more likely to be the PSU or GPU, but could be ram, mobo, whatever. The best thing you can do for now is to try to replicate the issue is some other way or find any other evidence of the issue at all to help narrow it down. Remind me of a buddy of mine who had a PC that kept crashing in PUBG and we tried everything to resolve it to the point of replacing just about everything except the SSDs and it turned out to be an SSD that was causing the issue. Doubt that's the case here, just reminds me of that.
  2. Try running Furmark and Prime95 at the same time and watch Furmark to make sure your GPU is staying at 99/100% usage while your PC is under heavy load. Could be something else though, maybe the SSD you have the game installed on is failing, or maybe it's just a driver issue. Any other symptoms?
  3. Just to clarify my earlier comment... I didn't use AI to make porn myself, there are sites that just do that constantly all the time now and it's crazy. The vast majority of it works just fine but when you see something like two women sharing the same set of legs in a pornographic way... it's just very shocking to say the least I did actually setup stable diffusion on one of my own PCs once, and when you run it locally there is obviously no filter, so I could have used that to make whatever I wanted but it was very slow and buggy so I didn't really use it much at all. I didn't set it up to do explicit stuff, just to try and use it without having to pay for it at the time.
  4. Sounds like you basically want a setup like mine. Decent sound card for the PC - hooked up to a good stereo amp/receiver for a standard home theater style setup. You can use HDMI from a PC to a receiver but you will not have any options for how to control the output, which is important on a PC which is why you need the sound card. The sound blaster Z is enough feature wise to give you all the control you will need to setup/adjust 5.1 from a PC.
  5. Might be worth it to make low profit on a couple sales if it lead to reviews on that platform.
  6. AI porn is nutty. Works well most of the time but when it messes up... gets real weird real fast.
  7. Thanks man. Would be a dream come true if I could just chill at home and build gaming PCs all the time for a living. Hopefully I can figure out a way to get some traction online. I think I have an amazon seller account... maybe I'll try that.
  8. Etsy has home made stuff, and other gaming computers listed that I think I can beat. Seems similar to ebay but perhaps better suited for home made stuff. I'd like to be able to see more of these if I can and figuring out how to sell them online would be ideal, so Etsy is just part of that. Easy to setup, but we'll see about getting actual sales.
  9. AMD's take on AI: Instinct MI300X combines GPU cores with 192 GB of HBM3 memory WWW.TECHSPOT.COM Up until now, the big winner in the generative AI GPU game has been Nvidia, thanks to a combination of... Honestly I did not expect to see such a strong showing in dedicated AI hardware from AMD this soon. AMD proving they're not getting complacent, they want to compete.
  10. So I got a white sheet and took some clean pics of the PC and put it on Etsy. The price is much higher there than I would aim for locally, but it's still cheaper/better than anything else I've seen in the same range on there now. Would be cool kind of selling worked. 12. I bet some of the bigger companies have already scraped all the data they need and can continue to do so in an increasingly effective fashion as AI gets better and better at scraping reddit for data. Can't stop companies from using data to train their AI when they can use AI to collect that data.
  13. I'm not currently playing anything, but I have a bunch of stuff loaded on my phone ready to get started on. I use the Razor Kishi V2, it's not Bluetooth but plugs directly into the phone. A little pricey but such a great controller.
  14. 3700X was $100. A 5600X would be about $150, and probably need better cooling. Most people who buy PCs like this don't know anything about motherboards, so B550 vs A520 is a meaningless difference, and really, it's also a meaningless difference to the PC since it won't be OCed or anything. Functionally the only real difference is PCIe 3 vs PCIe 4, but I aim for nvme drives that are about 3000mb/s, which is faster than an Xbox so should work just fine for any an all current get titles. SSDs that actually benefit from PCIe 4 are still pretty expensive and it's just an extra cost that makes no difference for games at all right now. Getting an SSD that's twice as fast as another doesn't make the game load twice as fast or even close usually it barely makes any difference at all. The logic I've followed is to build PCs that are comfortably ahead of a current get console in every meaningful way, but not overly so as to balloon the cost. 3700X has the same number of threads as a console, but the 5600X has less so I opt for the one that's a better match, and really if a game doesn't run well on a 3700X today, it's going to run even worse on a console and it's probably just a poorly optimized game. That said, this will probably be my last Ryzen 3000 build for resale.
  15. Well, this one would cost about $875 in total parts, but I got the case for free. It had shipping damage when I bought it, so I got it refunded, but it was only one of the feet that was damaged and I was able to fix it with super glue. So this one probably actually cost me about $800, and I'll aim to sell it for somewhere between $950 and $1050. This one also has a bigger PSU than it needs though, and that's because I already had it and I just didn't feel like ordering a smaller/cheaper one.
  16. I make sure the ram is at XMP, sometimes turn on PBO but otherwise no, no overclocking. This recent build I had to buy a heatsink separate from the cpu and I got like the cheapest one Newegg had that was a 120mm, had no reviews but I recognize the brand so I tried it and it actually holds up really well. I think a 3070 is pretty ideal for 1440p in all but the most demanding titles with the highest settings. This PC will go for less than the last one I did though for sure. 3070 prices have come down a good amount.
  17. I didn't see it either. If we're going to post pics, we def need to get the EHW bikini up on the store
  18. Next refurb, used CPU, used GPU, all else is new. 3700x 32GB 3600mhz CL16 2TB 3200mb/s NVME SSD GeForce 3070 8GB Gigabyte A520m wifi ThermalTake 750w PSU Probably going to sell this one for about $950
