  1. the one time a year I need to recall something important is not worth to me them taking screenshots of everything. I can see some dude sitting at a desk thinking this is great and will help people though, sucks to be those guys.
  2. 21 for handguns is federal law, as is 18 for long guns. Some states I believe have upped even long guns to 21. I don't think the age is the problem, there always seems to be someone who knew the person bought a gun, knew they were not right, might have said something might not, and no one properly investigated. Now I'm not a fan of red flag laws as most are currently implemented as they remove due process completely a lot. I think the US needs to enforce the rules they have better and be very consistent. Our gun laws haven't changed much (they became a bit more restrictive) but guns have always been a part of the US. IMO other factors are driving gun violence and the vast majority (aside from suicide which is like half of gun deaths in the US) is a result of another already illegal activity. I don't think violent games drive people to do violent things either. I'm clearly not a psychiatrist with no background in it but I just don't buy that a perfectly normal kid turns into a murderer by playing GTA or COD. If anything COD would make you want to join Special Operations military groups I would think. I forgot who said it earlier but I agree that there is something else there going on. Its possible they play those games to get their fix to whatever is really wrong and at some point it doesn't do enough anymore. Just my thoughts.....But if they win these law suits things are going to change. Daniel Defense has never once marketed their firearms for killing innocent civilians. In fact I have never seen marketing where killing has ever been the focus. Its usually defense or be like the SEALs (which are good guys).
  3. Yeah I always bought razers extended warranties to make life easier. I don't really bring them on work travel anymore and don't travel enough to warrant super slim like the razer so I was thinking about branching out to save a bit.
  4. @ENTERPRISE What did you end up picking up if anything? I'm looking at a similar choice right now, with my kids still being younger I'm a few years from really desktop gaming again. I'm usually downstairs on the couch or table hanging out. I was looking at the new version of the asus rog scar with mini led. I'll probaby try and hold off for newer gen gpus as I feel buying a 4 series right now isn't the smartest choice. I have been looking at the legion, scar, and blade. All 16".
  5. I have never used an ultrawide, but I did buy a 48" lg oled and love it. I went that route becuase I knew it would beused for my ps5 and regular tv as well. It was also on sale and a complete impulse purchase lol
  6. You would think it would make them cheaper lol, but not when Nvidia is in charge.
  7. I would be tempted to try android again except everyone I talk to has apple and I don't want green bubbles lol. To me its really a habbit thing, it works, I don't really do anyting but text and browse the web. Its also why I stopped getting phones every upgrade. I want until I pay it off and then get a new one.
  8. I'm at that point where my windows drive has way too much stuff in it. Tons of empty folders or files that were just left over from an uninstall. How do you guys generally clean up aside from just nuking the install and starting fresh.
  9. Well Gran Turismo was always PlayStation only wasn't it? While I think they should let this go through, I think this is the first time a hardware company has bought a publisher with this much clout and IP. As long as Microsoft continues all their releases on PC I'm good hah.
  10. What is out there that would be awesome to side load? Only thing that comes to mind for me would be taking my personal vintage game collection on the road.
  11. What do you all recommend doing on these to work better as a monitor or protect from burn in. Only thing I really did so far was auto hide the task bar and actually remember to turn it off since it doesn't shut down like a normal monitor
  12. Went to return a router, left with:
  13. I had a voodoo 5 5500 AGP back in the day. Googling it tells me it was the last of their chips to make it to normal people markets.
  14. I find the whole argument that it makes Law Enforcement judge, jury, executioner kind of funny as the same situations they would send the robot in would be the same situations they have the authority to act in that capacity. I obviously don't want them to have to fulfill that role but if it meant saving lives have at it.
  15. Not the USPS pension. For some reason theirs by law had to be fully funded. Its one of the main reasons their profitability sucks so badly. But most are severely underfunded and the government will have to print money to pay them out.
  16. That card has brand new fans and thermal paste too. That was by far my most used card ever thing served me well.
  17. I added this but you must have started your reply: I guess my question would be if they used the RTX Path Tracing SDK to build out that ray tracing functionality could an AMD card use it, or would they have to use some other kind of path tracing in for amd to use. I understand they can both do path tracing but can both always use the same implementation of path tracing. Or is there technically only one real way to implement it since its the underlying Directx or Vulkan API feature.
  18. Sure RTX is branding but they have APIs and SDKs for people to use to do ray tracing things easier in their engines. So there is all the software side of it they bring to the table too. AMD might have some of this too I'm not familiar with it but there is more to RTX then branding. EDIT: I guess my question would be if they used the RTX Path Tracing SDK to build out that ray tracing functionality could an AMD card use it, or would they have to use some other kind of path tracing in for amd to use. I understand they can both do path tracing but can both always use the same implementation of path tracing.
  19. RTX to my understanding is just pre built libraries to take advantage of the ray tracing capabilities of the RTX cards making it easier on developers.
  20. So I the 1st page doesn't have the info anymore. If somoene can show me who is still eligble I'll redraw 3rd otherwise I can just carry over the leftover prize to next month. And apologies in advance to everyone who gets a prize. I will be slow in shipping, my life is in disarray, but not in a bad way. Just will be slow
