  1. Yea, I'm a huge fanboy of Crucial too. I have 2 MX500 and 2 MX1000 plus a 1GB NVME P1. They are solid, affordable drives with comparable performance to that of Samsung etc...
  2. Sounds cool. I just snagged an Nforce 790i Ultra SLI w/ QX6850 for these dual GTX 290's. Looking forward to going retro myself. Socket T was when I really fell in love with PC's. I know it's not socket A, but meh.
  3. Welcome Joe! You need any help just ask!
  4. Yea, was just reading about it this morning with a few peers. Very scary stuff. Hopefully not what they are saying. Known as B.1.1.529 and the WHO is deciding if it should be labeled a "Variant of concern". Supposed to be even more transmissible than Delta and render vaccines even less effective. Can definitely see the markets reacting to it.
  5. I didn't expect you to say yes. And I hate the fact that you live across the border for shipping reasons. Do you end up having to pay duty tax when things cross the border? $1500 shipped and insured? If you really are interested, PM me. Can get you pics and hammer out the details.
  6. Seems cool. Never seen a 16mm hardline sleeve before. You ready to buy my TH10 yet?
  7. THIS ADVERT HAS EXPIRED!

I know it's an absolute stretch here, but if anyone here has one in a box in the basement, i'm game. Or if you hear anyone or know anyone who has one, please let me know.

    Ask for price

  8. This should help, it was from the X570 manual, so fair to assume it's the same for the x470 as well. Also found it referenced the same in other manuals. Looks like a Boot device selection error. What drives are you running in that server? If they are mechanical and old, you might have a failure coming. If M.2. could try swapping locations. If SATA, different ports.
  9. Need more information here. 90's codes are usually PCI-e related in my experience. Does the computer continue to run after the code pops? Or does it shut off and give you another 12-16 hours before doing it again?
  10. I know how much work complex WC builds can be and yours was on crack. So, much respect and glad everything is working with no snafu's.
  11. I really only use it on the mountain roads when it's pitch black, 9/10 i'm able to kill the bar before anyone gets in range to be blinded. Still, I wouldn't want to not have it.
  12. Welcome to the club, I blind people all the time with my light bar on back roads at 5 am. They do make a huge difference and I have been able to avoid many bear/deer/turkey on the mountain pass because of it.
  13. It's actually quite a long benchmark to complete. Lets get some of your PCI-e 4.0 boys on it.
  14. I was actually reading this last night. Another benchmark to nerd out on I suppose.
  15. Know of Adata, used some of their generic ddr3 sticks in the past, never had issues.
  16. I never said "Mining" would be eradicated, I said ETH mining would. Of course there are plenty of other coins to mine on.
  17. Most all crypto trading platforms will have outrageous fees, including coinbase. Don't forget, part of the last ETH hardfork was to burn a ton of ETH thus moving to POS, fees are part of the "Burning". It won't be long now. Once mining is eradicated, that is when you will see the value of ETH skyrocket.
  18. Who exactly will need new PSU's again and what are we thinking the pricing will be on these new units? I don't own any PSU's <1000w. Personally I don't see the difference in running NVlink cards or a new ONE of the newer cards. We always speculate on the TOP tier when these card talks happen and then forget we are talking about ENTHUSIAST level cards. I don't believe a 4060 is going to require 500w. Enthusiasts, which is what all of us are here should be more than capable of handling the wattage and price tag IF we desire whatever comes next. And no, I don't think we'll see a 1Kw power requirement on a 4090, unless some idiot wants a 1Kw bios (Most will). See This guy already has his 1Kw 4090
  19. Agree as well, but we saying that anyone who will be able to afford these next gen GPU's really cares about power consumption?
  20. It's the X63 (280mm) variant. /assets/cms/34299/1615584522-kraken-x63frontbnwith-fanpurple.png?fit=max&fm=jpg&w=1000 Kraken X63 NZXT.COM Love your gaming PC | We meticulously design a curated suite of premium products to make extraordinary gaming experiences achievable and fun. 21. Hello stranger. I wish I had a recommendation for you, but I don't CPU fold. I have been running an NZXT Kraken on a GPU though and it has held up.
