  1. Used sure, I'm not sure that's true for new. Depends on which price segment you are looking at I suppose.
  2. I opted for 2TB 970 Evo Plus's when I bought mine, didn't see a reason to pay double for gen 4 at the time. Are these good then, just seems to be 980's and 990's?
  3. ChatGPT is great. Every time I use it, it answers with 404 network error.
  4. Granted, but your plumbing becomes so efficient, you always have to use the restroom immediately after eating or drinking something. (you didn't specify which plumbing) I wish it was warmer.
  5. Yeah worked perfectly. I used to remember all that stuff but its been like 9 years since I've done desktop support. It seems I forgot a lot of the basics I used to do a lot, like cleaning disk partitions.
  6. Yeah my old PC was still on W8.1. When I got my 3070 in (before trading it for this) I tried to test it to make sure it worked and yeah, that was not very fun given there was no driver support.
  7. Been very happy with my S22 Ultra. My wife might replace her Note 20 Ultra with this.
  8. My Windows 11 PC uses a local account. It was a trick of not connecting to the internet during setup. I heard they were getting rid of that trick though, but I am sure there are more.
  9. Man...hey kids join in on the advertisement sing-along. Bant
  10. I joined in 2010 and it was definitely before the Huddler switch.
  11. I love these, thanks! Its been a while since I've been in Valley or Superposition, or Heaven for that matter. Thanks for reminding me of the free roam!
  12. Well if I actually had a home office, maybe I could do something cool too. Anyway it wasn't so much anything to do with socializing, most of the time I had the whole place to myself. Was more just I got out of the house, went out to lunch, or took nice walks on the days I brought my lunch (my wife always makes me awesome hot lunches) and it was great. Wife got some space for a few hours, etc. It was just healthy for both of us.
  13. Yeah my reaction too. I 100% agree with your point about mental health. COVID lockdown forcing 100% WFH for a year and a half really brought forward how much I value separating work from home physically twice a week. I came back two times a week when the office reopened in Sep 2021, but no one else did and they didn't force anyone to, so made sense why these are closing now that the lease was up.
  14. They have another office, is just not as convenient to get too, is smaller, and has only one open desk supposedly. I need to check it out. Its also not downtown either, so no walkable restaurants or other things like that, so just a worse experience.
  15. Working at the office today. Last week I can use it before they shut it down. I like getting out of the house a couple days a week so its disappointing to me that it is closing.
  16. Yeah I see what you mean. For new cards, $550 might get you a 3060 Ti or maybe a 3070 if you look hard enough but I don't think either represent a good enough performance uplift to be worth it. AMD you might be able to still find a 6800 XT new around that price. If you shop secondhand you might be able to find a 3080 or 6900 XT. RT off, you would get a decent uplift with the 6800 XT or 6900 XT. Its really hard to spend same money as 4 years ago and get anything of decent performance uplift sadly these days.
  17. I don't know anything about VR, but this looks pretty interesting. I switched to OLED last summer and boy what a difference over my last VA panel.
  18. Yeah tell me about it. This Dark Hero board is the most I have ever spent on a motherboard ever. And the only reason (at the time) I went with this board was because I did not want the stupid little chipset fan most X570 boards had. That said, has been a fantastic board with great overclocking features like the Dynamic OC Switcher, but yeah still stings a bit having paid what...$450+tax for it, which looking at X670 boards, seems to be cheap these days.
  19. Man I remember these. Or as I like to call them "how to hurt your thumb". What's your budget and are you only looking at Nvidia cards? And what would you consider a worthwhile increase in performance?
