I really have no desire to load up Starfield again gonna give it another go when Shattered Space comes out (9/30) but considering it's just (afaik) a content drop I have a feeling it's not gonna fix any of the bigger issues...

I don't browse EHW from mobile but it's been a non-issue for me on desktop running both UBlock Origin and Adblock Plus on Vivaldi.

supposedly it's better than the onboard options even though it still uses the AQC113C chipset. kinda doubtful but I used a promo code and rewards and only paid ~$40. planning on moving to AM5 or 1851 later this year and I have a feeling we'll get another shite lineup of 10 GbE mobos. considering it's the only high end feature I need maybe I can get away with a <$300 board instead of a >$450 one (assuming the TB/USB4 adapter works properly).

still rocking my trusty X540 too. But PCIe 2.0, a dedicated card, and drawing ~20W kinda sucks AQC113c fixed the latency and disconnect issues but they introduced new issues with link up during POST/reboot/sleep and it's already been discontinued by Marvell

no onboard 10 GbE = no buy for me, it's 2024 and it should be a requirement on any $300+ board it's a shame that the boards that have onboard 10 GbE is limited and most (all?) of the AM5/1700 boards with it use the AQC113 NIC which has documented issues
