Solid Explorer? it's what I use
  2. 10/10 neat the only real spare hardware I have at the moment though is a K2000 and I doubt you'd want to waste rack space on that

    2022 Team Cup!

double post but shhh apparently the DDR3/IGP benchmark has to be a chipset IGP and not a CPU IGP? all the submitted results so far are chipset (ala 4290/7025) so I assume I'm reading that right. guess I'm out of that one

apparently there's a Cezzane + W11 bug? GPU-Z and 3DMark show 0mhz IGP frequency but HWInfo shows it (2150) correctly. Hopefully it doesn't matter but it should get rejected probably ok tho since Luke's 5600G score is better anyway /img/logo.png ThePook`s 3DMark - Wild Life Extreme score: 2726 marks with a Radeon Graphics (Cezanne, 448 Shaders) HWBOT.ORG The Radeon Graphics (Cezanne, 448 Shaders)scores getScoreFormatted in the 3DMark - Wild Life Extreme benchmark. ThePookranks #167 worldwide and #10 in the hardware class. Find out... laptop is charging, gonna do that in a bit

system images haven't been a requirement in years, unless it's specifically a requirement for this competition (don't think so?) they're not needed. /img/logo.png Faq HWBOT.ORG HWBOT is a site dedicated to overclocking. I could do that one with my 4650G if nobody with a 5600/5700G steps in. CPU is locked and really doesn't play nice with more than +100mhz and the SO-DIMM tops out at 3533 though. If nobody else can do the Intel IGP/DDR3 one I've got a crap laptop with an N3450 but literally anything else would be better.
  9. bare metal: Xubuntu (laptop), Raspbian (Pi), MX Linux (HTPC) virtualized (HyperV): Lubuntu for Pi-Hole, Ubuntu for Plex I was running Ubuntu on my Pi but I was having random display issues ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  10. Asus used to make an adapter to run 479 CPUs in 478, I wanted one back in the day. You could usually get 2.5 or so out of them and they pooped on higher clocked P4s.
  11. congrats to E for picking someone no congrats to Avacado cus he smell
  12. it's not a bench OS, it's just an OS for embedded systems. embedded systems = low end = OS optimized for potato PCs = gud 4 hwbot Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro Evaluation WWW.MICROSOFT.COM Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry extends Windows 8.1 to a range of edge devices across retail, manufacturing, healthcare and any other industries. there's "Windows 9" which is what I use but it's not a really bench OS either, it's just 8.1 EIP with a pre-applied skin/theme to make it lo look like Windows 7: Windows 9 WWW.EASTCOAST.HOSTING you're still gonna want to do some tweaks yourself to get the most out of it but it should do better out of the box in CPU benchmarks. not so much in DX.
  13. CB23 works fine on 8.1 and 8.1 EIP poos on W10 in CB. I'd imagine even vanilla 8.1 would still eek out a bit more points than 10.
  14. wheel with flappy paddles cheap laptop
  15. I did but they more or less said I didn't know what I was talking about. I sent them threads of people complaining about the same issue and then they just stopped responding. mine is just in my closet collecting dust, if I RMA then I'll just get the same model back anyway which doesn't really help anything.
  16. as long as you're smarter than that weird Avacado guy you're probably okay from what I understand the quick spike is what causes the power cycle, the value it spikes to is irrelevant. if Seasonic OCP/OVP trips when you spike 200w in a ms it doesn't make a difference if it spikes from 100w to 300w or 500w to 700w, it should still trip.
  17. the issue isn't power consumption, it's high transient spikes caused by the 3000 series . I tried lowering my CPU OC too, didn't do anything. guess it's a way to test though but you're on OCN
  18. drop the power limit or limit the GPU to something like 0.7v or lower. Go away? I had to retire my Focus Plus 750W when I got my 3080 Ti. I was staying under 750W but Seasonic is too sensitive to transient spikes and made my system act like someone flipped the PSU switch. I bitched about it on OCN in the 3080 Ti thread, fix was a new PSU. Please Wait... | Cloudflare WWW.OVERCLOCK.NET In order to use my 3080 Ti until I got a new PSU I had to set power limit below 50% (IIRC 40%). Locking voltage worked better (better performance) but I don't remember what voltage that was.
