  1. Congratulations to all the winners and a huge thanks to @axipher for organising!
  2. Below 4K it is certainly rocking away. Memory bandwidth will be a limiting factor for 4K as we know but would like to see if SAM maturity will help with this. The 6900XT is still going to be a promising high end contender, but hoping SAM pulls it off and we dont end up with an "AMD done goofed" moment when it comes to 4K.
  3. Nice. Only thing is that the last link to the Samsung 870 SSD links to a Samsung USB drive ?
  4. Ha! Now that would be a giveaway. Can you imagine that *Starts Saving*
  5. Good info, cheers guys. Figured it had to be something to do with the insane scenery lol.
  6. Fingers crossed, would be great to see. Though all in all, not long to wait until launch day reviews.
  7. Got it Just a quick update, there may be a small delay getting these out due to the current Covid restrictions in the UK right now. My local post office is currently shut. Will get these packaged up and ready for dispatch and will get them out as soon as I can when the local PO opens or if I go out of town to another PO. Cheers guys, E
  8. So many deals. Never enough cash lol.
  9. Those be some nice shots bud. Looking forward to when they release DX12 Ultimate for this. Aside from adding the obvious features, would be interesting to see the FPS difference as DX12 Api is a tad more efficient. Also what is the rolling cache ? Is this where the game caches its scenes etc ?
  10. That is good to see ! Im really looking forward to the 6900XT to see what it brings to the table, while memory bandwidth is a big factor, I want to see how it does at 4K compared to the 6800XT
  11. Nice choice, I can speak to the reliability a d performance of those drives, they are great.
  12. Plus something else to mention going for Nvidia is their own implementation of SAM in the future.
  13. Hmmmm that is odd. Clearly that mobo has some form of disagreement with the AMD GPU's. I can only assume it is something at the BIOS/UEFI level that has not been addressed.
  14. This is something I faced before and I will also echo that I had to update the GPU BIOS to get it UEFI compatible, then it worked. Have you also updated the mobo BIOS and tried resetting the Mobo by removing the battery to reset the DMI Pool Data. Had to do this back in the day, not for a long time though, but another possibility. The other thing I can suggest is putting another GPU in the first PCI-E Slot and then put the non working one in the next slot. If you can get in the BIOS via the first slot GPU you may be able to play around with the PCI-E links gen to another gen and try with the non working GPU back in the first slot.
  15. Thanks for the notice, I have adjusted the forum settings
  16. Ultimately this is it. Its why I hesitate to go AMD. They have made some great strides with RDNA2 no doubt but as you succinctly put, the AMD ecosystem is still lacking, it is that ecosystem I need as well as just gaming power
  17. Not a bad price actually but I did notice it lacks 5G. Likely how they managed to get it down to that price as 5G modules are still pricey. Nice find, might be good phone for my kid haha.
  18. There was a small outage, Wordpress stopped processing requests for some reason, though the server was actually fine. Will look into it further to see why the random outage.
  19. I saw that the other day, it is certainly ironic !
  20. Im not sure. AMD's goal was to maximize on the Performance Per Watt goal. Another reason they went lower bandwidth and implemented the infinity cache to basically cover shortfall. Now im unsure as to HBM power requirements compared to standard GDDR6, but im willing to bet its higher. I feel that is why AMD ditched it this round for the gaming line just to remain competitive in the PPW. Another consideration is competitive pricing. HBM is expensive compared to GDDR6. So if AMD wanted to be in line or undercut Nvidia prices, HBM would likely be prohibitive to that goal. If it were my wish then HBM and infinity cache would be rocking...and frankly I think it would sell like hot cakes.
  21. Looking forward to the boost ! For better point updates via Google docs, I have spoken with my dev and aiming for end of November release, fingers crossed we can have it working for the next foldathon.
