  1. Man, people have problems. So much self entitlement these days.
  2. I would very much imagine that the PCIe 4 interface is the driver here. If they are using a method for quick interlink between an AMD CPU and the GPU with respects to something like infinity cache, then yeah makes full sense that for optimum performance you would need to take advantage of the extra bandwidth of PCIe 4, something which cannot happen with Intel as they are not even on PCIe 4 as of yet. Depending on how this shapes up, have an AMD/GPU combo could be very interesting indeed, would love to hear more on the technology as it could be a driving factor to get the 6900XT considering I am using a Ryzen CPU already. You got that right. AMD is a business like any other at the end of the day, as long as they are undercutting their competitor then the price will be set as appropriate. Lol lets be honest if Nvidia was selling the 3090 at $1K you can rest assured the 6800XT would be at your preferred $699 price point haha.
  3. As a note, the embed wizard is in the works, so soon we will be able to start embedding content such as google docs which may make life somewhat easier later on.
  4. I found this interesting as well that AMD opted for a less advanced memory compared to what Nvidia offers, but in reading it seems they have bridged the gap with Infinity Cache. The memory bandwidth on the 3090 is far superior, can infinity cache really make up for this by not shifting data to the Vram and keeping it in cache...time will tell when the independent reviews come.
  5. That is a unique idea, folding under a winners username would be cool.
  6. Hah, I think im a pro these days when it comes to cheap and easy way to hide cables lol
  7. Well it all has to start somewhere. I also did not see the initial speed estimate but I would have been skeptical on the 1Gbps considering it is still fledgling tech.
  8. Well if those slides are correct and translates into third party review results, then that is pretty darn good, looks like AMD may be starting to get that traction they need !
  9. Hey guys, Apologies for the lack of competitions so far as Folding@Home. These will return, but things have been super busy my end and financially on the tighter side with all the recent site changes and life haha. More on this as soon as I can Cheers, E
  10. To be honest happy to wait for a polished product, even if much of the works is for console optimization. However I would imagine the additional time they have will also be at looking at the PC version. As long as it is not released in 2077, I am fine with it...see what I did there ?
  11. This will be interesting to see how this plays out, we know what happened with AMD's last huge buyout...man that stung for years.
  12. D5 Next, great choice ! Have one of these as my secondary pump and it is fantastic. I also applaud your patience with respect to custom sleeving you cables, you have patience I do not haha. Lastly, hey kitty !
  13. Episode 42 - Wendell From Level1Techs Is Here & We Talk About EVERYTHING
  14. Wait, nobody knows how well its going to perform considering it is still a steady mile away.
  15. Thanks to all those cranking out those WU's !
  16.  Podcast Extras - October 11 2020
  17. I am not sure anything will help them get to 7nm....seems to be unobtanium for them haha.
  18. I know what you mean about those project itches, they can be hard to scratch.
  19. Personally I enjoyed watching Intel get knocked down a peg or two just due to the shear price gouging...when AMD busted out Zen 2 they were dropping some of their SKU prices by almost 50%....and they were still banking lol. We obviously just dont want to see AMD unchallenged so we have to go through it all with Team Red lol
  20. Nice overview. I did consider this laptop a little while back but could not justify the price. I love a powerful laptop but my main usage is through my desktop, so this would likely gather dust all in all. I really am not an apple fan BUT I do like the aesthetics, so you are right in saying that if Apple is not for you then this Razor product may be.
