  1. If you want tighter timings, click on "Calculate Fast". This will calculate a faster timing set and options. Remember that when calculating fast, do not just look at the timing differences, other settings may have changed as well and you will need to alter these in the BIOS as well.
  2. Nice, glad to see that the AIO overhaul has been a success, definitely like your color theme of black and white, looks great. Fingers crossed the pump holds out on that AIO for a good time to come
  3. Needed to get these, too much data !
  4. Am I misunderstanding this ? Is this just for LED light control ? @axipher
  5. That is the reason I sold my 2080Ti's and cashed in early ! I knew they would depreciate like mad.
  6. Oh yeah ! I completely forgot about that. Intel had a lot of eggs in that 7nm basket which they kept leading people to believe was OK. I think I would pull out my investment to if someone come out one day and told me the tech I was told was fine was actually straight up broken.
  7. I very much remember the FM sockets, but only that they superseded a prior socket I was using way back in the day. Will have to look up what is hybrid about them.
  8. If that was the case would that flaw not enable access to hardware level control such as voltage etc ? In order to kill them or are we talking about another vector ?
  9. I need to go searching for MS Flight Simulator 2020 benchmark results, just to see how much is gives a system a run for its money. Just looking at it and the recommended requirements lead me to believe it is fairly heavy.
  10. Fantastic build completion ! Nice work, looks like a great rig and I would say that your HDD array + HDD/SSD config looks to be performing at about expected speeds so not much to worry about there. As for EPU, disable that puppy as that relates to power savings I do believe. If power saving is a goal then leave it as it is, but if you are looking at maximum performance I tend to disable it.
  11. I was happy when I saw AMD overtake Intel on the stock price, nice to see AMD doing so well after all this time.
  12. While the DRAM Calculator is not perfect, it certainly points you in the right direction, in my case it certainly has and it seems to for many others.
  13. Oh nice....but now this gets me thinking...Stop giving me ideas that involve money haha.
  14. Nice thanks, I looked at it and it certainly seemed to check the boxes ! Will make this one a future upgrade
  15. Ouch, looks like everyone wants a piece of Intel right now...and not in a good way.
  16. Just saw this, what do you think ? https://www.broadbandbuyer.com/produ...tions/#content Will see if I can find something cheaper but looks like that would do the job right off the bat.
  17. Great thanks for confirming ! I thought that was the case. Thanks for sharing your NIC setup as well, gives me some good ideas. Now to just find an affordable 10Gb Switch with approx 8 ports that support link aggregation. Any thoughts ?
  18. Nice thanks for the info, Will have to look into those as well in the future then, for a moment I could not remember the company name responsible for XPG. As for other stats other than BackBlaze, not that I know of, that was the only one I knew of and since then I have not needed to look. There might be one I do not know of. Hahah well maybe one day we can look into an SSD endurance review of sorts
  19. I need to get MS Flight Simulator 2020, would like to give that a go, I think at would be a great idea @J7SC_Orion , fancy heading that thread up ?
  20. Hey bud. My main NAS is NAS 2. NAS 1 is my backup. The main purpose of the plan was simply to increase throughout when NAS 2 starts its sync job to NAS 1. It looks like it would make more sense just to get a small switch which supports link aggregation to get this job done. As the link aggregation enabled switch will be linked up with my main switch, NAS 1 will still get internet access and by extension management access. So unless I am missing something a link aggregation enabled switch will do the trick ?
  21. Never tried any of the XPG drives myself, I guess these hold up nicely against the more obvious brands like Samsung etc @axipher ?
  22. Nice, I didn't think about it in the way that you could also use this to essentially replace a busted VRM, even if you are not interested in extreme overclocking.
