I am waiting for @Sir Beregond to post his Nvidia rant.

in this case it may be justified, I mean the only place the cards beating my 1st gen 2070 is in the 1080 section. and it's not by enough to make me jump to replace it with a 4060.And this is 2+ generations of card releases later.... 🤨

Man... I saw an article (can't remember when but at least a few months back or more..), with an upcoming game that was supposed to be released Nov this year.  Started with an R.  Looked like a cross between Diablo, Torchlight, and Warcraft 3...

If anyone has any ideas I'd be STOKED to find it and follow it... Name is kinda like Returnal, but obviously not.. LOL.  Anyone got any ideas?

Closest thing I could find was Remnant II

    STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM

Remnant II pits survivors of humanity against new deadly creatures and god-like bosses across terrifying worlds. Play solo or co-op with two...

Sounds like the AI assistance could lead to some power efficiency gains.

Just going off the title, my first thought was "They're gonna get this big azz chip back and the AI will argue that that IS 2 nm and then end the conversation because they're being judgemental. 🤣  After reading the story it made more sense. 🙂

I literally have never seen an ad on anyones site in probably 7 years so this is news to me. If you have an ad you want to see if I get shown on this site, feel free to challenge me 🙂

Who is even in charge of OC.net these days? Seems like someone wants all that ad $.

First shot, OCN home page, adblocker turned off, showing 3 ads just at first section of page loaded & showing.  Second shot shows adblocker info after turning back on and refreshing page.

  5. When I went to OCN today had a pop up that surprised me, "Subscribe now for ad-free viewing" lol. Wasn't that a thing before Vertical Scope broke them and said "We can't fix that pluggin so tough titty?" I guess with the exit of some people and the start of a viable site that offers ad free viewing, they felt the need to "do the impossible" and fix things so they can try to keep up with the quality sites. 😉

  6. My first game on this list will be Techland's Dying Light. The game was supported with new content and updates for 7 years. Also the developers would give free items on their site that you just entered the codes into your account and your game got them.

My next game, despite the developer's later problems with other releases, is The Witcher 3. STILL getting updates and improvements, and they're even putting player created mods into ALL versions of the releases through patches. They've added support for XeSS along with already having DLSS, and they're fixing glitches that occur from those techs.

So I got the 16gb ram and it works fine on the new board mind u the integrated graphics use over 1gb of dedicated vram for 14.9gb available & I cannot figure out how to crossfire the r5 integrated apu graphics with the r5 m430 discrete graphics but any im having an issue with the r5 m430.

It doesn't show up in HWINFO or MSI Afterburner but in the device manager it shows up fine.  I get all zeros in msi afterburner and it doesnt even show up in hwinfo at all.  Why?  Is it a driver problem or issue?  Any advice would be appreciated.

Sometimes the AMD Radeon R5 M430 works and other times, not.  Sometimes games start up using the integrated AMD A8-7410 R5 graphics which can see 6-7fps on some titles and the AMD Radeon R5 M430 is way more powerful at like 35-40fps.  I've tried 22.6.1, 23.4.2, and 19.11.1 drivers all pretty much have issues with the switchable graphics.

By the way I cant quite get much clock out of the R5 M430, just about 1075mhz on the core from 955mhz and 1075mhz on the memory from 900mhz is all i can get out of reliably.  I wish I could crossfire the dual R5s to get more performance but i dont think its possible but i could be wrong.  I tested NimeZ drivers out 23.4.2 and when i enable crossfire through the drivers it says this and in game on fullscreen the colors are all busted and sometimes I get BLUE colors replacing RED & ORANGE like my OSD goes from Orange to Blue which is odd idk how to fix it other than ALT ENTER ALT ENTER twice.

    Thanks
