The "Show Me Yours And I'll Show You Mine" Thread
Storm-Chaser replied to PCSarge's topic in Office/Gaming Spaces
Yeah very mild winter so far... which i don't really mind TBH Repainted the desk, I think the whole area looks much better now. Also brought in a second workbench with a vice. It's a little close to where I sit, but works. The gloss difference you see is just the paint curing. Will get a second coat later. -

You bet. I like buying them in pairs just like I like my dual processor rigs lol Don't have time for this stuff anymore but it was fun while it lasted, although I am mulling over the possibility of another Thundercat 900 for this winter. 110HP rotax two stroke old 900cc tcat on the left has 160HP (triple), wildcat 700 EFI has about 110-120HP (twin) 97 thundercat 900cc triple with vforce reeds, big bore carburetors, custom clutch setup with red spring, triple piped, gutted resonator, and modified oil pump with 8 post electrical stator. Carbide blades up front and 185 studs on the track. LED lighting is brighter that way, and the hand warmers work better. Did about 120mph. Good for about 180HP. Also has a rear suspension and track setup from a much later model artic cat sled, so once you drop that in, she's really a good trail runner with plenty of power on tap. I've gone faster but this is the only time I had a camera zip tied to the handlebars lol -

Sorry I had to snip the instructions, it's because the pics didn't carry over. Download link: MicrobenchmarkGui.zip For latency test do the same. Once again, the result is listed at the very bottom of your result window: Yellow square is L1 Orange square is L2 Red square is L3 Dark red square is System RAM Additional reading here: AMD’s Zen 4, Part 2: Memory Subsystem and Conclusion – Chips and Cheese Thanks to @domdtxdissar for recommending this one.

Great deal. I would have pulled the trigger as well. That being said, he might need one of these:

Speaking of this free stuff thing I did just get this really cool (and official) pentagon jacket. And DOD Top-Secret clearance to go along with it.

LOL you don't have to get all defensive that an 8 year old workstation smokes your "dope" alpha PC. Don't be a sore loser and accept defeat now and stop acting like a small child because I beat you yet again. LMAO I did say your rig would go up in smoke, didn't I? more like steam rolled And this is on the way, for real.
-
I thought you said nifty for a second there... I was like: is Mr. Slow Pook actually agreeing storm-chaser? I don't think so! Not sure if this goes right over your head, or what the deal is, but the entire idea here is twins. The boat pic disqualifies you from the competition...
-
Your machine might be dope, but it's gonna go up in smoke. lol Its kind of like the two is better than one type of deal.
-
Mr. Slow pook doesn't have an answer for this. Heck, I think I managed to smoke his best single core result as well - with my little six core 9600KF.

@ENTERPRISE I will post a number of benchmarks here as well, but for more details go to overclock.net, I've started a thread over there for recording benchmark performance. Just a moment... WWW.OVERCLOCK.NET

New CPUs showed up today. These are v4 CPUs, which allow a maximum memory speed of 2400MHz. So I went from 2133MHz on the RAM to 2400MHz and shaved off a good bit of latency as well. Also added 8 cores and 16 threads, so the performance improvements are substantial. Good enough for fourth place at HWBOT
-
LMAO I'm pretty sure you are just resentful, so you are siding with him because you can never beat me in benchmarking.
-
-
No Andrew, you took it out of context. It was supposed to be funny, you know, like a joke? Obviously, something is lacking in your brain there. lol
-
No, that's just a front, the tank is mine. The military can't come out and say they sold it to a civilian without taking major flak. I also reanimated Heemeyer's kill dozer.
