  1. I see what you mean. In hindsight I probably should not have even enabled the LARS extension, since I really was just trying to see if the listed average was anything close to what a stock chip could do when just running F@H. This really is an outlier of a chip. It's almost impossible to get a true average ppd number, since the use case of this chip is not really conducive to getting a realistic average ppd. The other wrench in the system is that I'm sure LARS is also counting the 2200g, which has a base clock of 1000MHz compared to the 3200g, and it's 1250MHz base clock. I'm not sure what the best solution is to deal with hardware that has artificially low avg ppd numbers. Most likely we'll just need to look a bit closer at uncommon hardware, before giving it the go ahead for ETF. For what it's worth the recent Windows numbers (53k this week) are also bringing the the average up. Back on topic for this thread. @BWG The stats have been down since sometime yesterday afternoon.
  2. The only reason why I ran my 3200g was because the average on LARS looked quite a bit lower than what a stock 3200g would be. Linux really has nothing to do with it. Just going off of the ppd for the first unit I ran this is what it looks like: You're 3200g Core 1725MHz - 38% OC p18201 - tpf 16:53 My 3200g Core 1240MHz - 0% OC p18201 - tpf 23:34 The tpf difference is pretty much an exact match to the clock speed difference. I just noticed that the LARS number was way lower than it should have been (23k ppd at that time), so I thought I'd run it for a bit to get an idea of what the stock ppd numbers should be. My guess before running it was that 50k ppd was probably closer to what the real stock number was. I definitely wasn't trying to game the handicap or sabotage your numbers. It just looked like a funky outlier compared to what the chip should have been, and I had the hardware on hand to do a little comparison.
  3. If you just want to do it with a single fitting, you'll want to get a dual-rotary 90. Bitspower, barrow, alphacool, and a bunch of other fitting manufacturers make a varity of dual-rotary 90s. Here's an alphacool dual-rotary 90: https://www.performance-pcs.com/water-cooling/fittings-connectors/alphacool-eiszapfen-angled-adaptor-90-rotatable-g1-4-outer-thread-to-g1-4-inner-thread-deep-black-ac-17260.html

  10. I saw that CaseLabs news break on OCN. There's a bit more info in the OCN thread for those who didn't see it. https://www.overclock.net/threads/official-case-labs-owners-club.940461/post-28866114
  11. You can run it headless. I've been running multiples machines that way for a long time. If you want fan and clock controls you will need a minimal xserver to run NVIDIA Settings.
  12. That is just a change on the GDoc right? Back in the old days on OCN, I usually used an OCN themed blue for my Sheets. Does the embed strip the formatting of the Google Sheet?
  13. First WU is up and running on the 3200g. Everything is stock. Running in Arch Linux.
  14. Thanks for the info. I was just looking for a bit of a baseline. As far as tuning the 3200, I've messed around with a number of AMD APUs, so I should be good. I will hit you up if I hit a wall. *Edit* It will finish a p18201 in plenty of time. I just had to wait for a few frames to get a proper TPF.
  15. @damric I might need to tweak a few things on my 3200g. Do you know what you're average TPF is on p18201? Right now, at bone stock, it doesn't look like I'll complete this WU on time. *Edit* Just looked at the LARS info for that unit, and it looks like it averages about 6 days to finish that unit.
  16. The last few months have been very busy, so this project has stalled. Back at it again, and I will post some better pics, but here's a few quick ones of the current progress. Radiators are in, half of the drive brackets are in, and all of the fans are installed.
  17. Right now it's serving temp duty as my HTPC and file server. I can probably get a few results over the next couple of days. The results will be in Linux, so it should be a nice comparison to see what is possible with these little chips.
  18. My crazy month is starting to wind down. We've been fairly consistent this month, and were right in the mix until that integrated AMD GPU came along. I also have a 3200G.
  19. The chairs of that board are highly respected scientists. Dr. Frances Arnold is a Nobel Prize winner, Dr. Maria Zuber has been on advisory boards for the last four administrations, and the newly sworn in cabinet member (it's about time there is a real scientist sitting at the table) Dr. Eric Lander is a brilliant geneticist. Bringing science into the forefront for policy decisions is a welcome change, and the mix of researchers with industry leaders, who also happen to be actual engineers, will hopefully keep the panel steered in the direction of the public good. Lisa Su has done a phenomenal job righting the ship at AMD, and is actually a real engineer and not just a brilliant bean counter.
  20. Welcome, and nice to see over on the EHW side. :)
  21. I didn't see myself in the stats, but then I remebered that I made a new user for EHW. This all makes sense now. Q_Cruncher is correct, and at least Axi/BWG knows who I am even if I don't.
