  1. How to select and delete batch copies of files in Windows? I tried Beyond Compare the application is sort of difficult to use though for that task but I think it's possible on that application. Thanks
  2. By the way I don't recommend running Forza on a HDD because I was getting continuous hitching & stuttering while racing which is so annoying! So I since installed the game on the C:\ drive & had to change the Owner again but this time it had to be entered like this : NT Service\TrustedInstaller
  3. Here's a couple videos showcasing the performance you get from the Supermicro H8SCM-F & AMD Opteron 4386 on 32 Gigabytes of DDR3-1600 & a DeLimited RX 480 4 Gigabyte card @ 1333Mhz. As far as recording goes I recorded Call Of Duty WWII on DXTORY with TestAMFVFW which uses AMD VCE @ 23.97fps recorded fps, mind a -20fps reduction or so on average but otherwise it's quite accurate the displayed fps because of the movie cinema quality recorded fps of 23.97fps (I gained fps by recording @ 23.97fps btw). Also Forza Motorsport 7 was Unbeatable difficulty recorded using XBOX Game DVR @ 10Mbps typical rate @ about 30fps recorded fps, mind a slight reduction in avg framerate on both videos.
  4. Holy crap those are some insane numbers on AIDA64 CPU Cache Memory benchmark! 100GB/s+ memory bandwidth & more than 5TB/s L1 Cache Performance, wow! PS - Your temperatures are amazing for those powerful processor(s).
  5. @Storm-ChaserYeah I tried it, said no compatible processor family found. I can post a screenshot of error if necessary?
  6. I'll have to learn how to disable XBOX game DVR because right now the only way I get no fps loss is through DXTORY using the DXTORY lossless codec which is uncompressed video. Only problem is, the output is laggy.
  7. @Storm-ChaserThanks man. I use Arctic Silver Ceramique 2 & I'm hitting about 40°C load on this Opteron CPU & configuration. So don't really need LM for this cool-running setup. Just wish I could lock it to x19 multiplier for 3.8Ghz in-game otherwise it runs 3.4Ghz in game mostly & sometimes under ultra-light single core loads will it hit 3.8Ghz. After I sell this C32 setup, I'll build a G34 AMD Opteron 6386 SE 16-Core top end chip code name Opteron 6300-series "Abu Dhabi" (32 nm). That's what I'm looking forward to.
  8. @ENTERPRISEYeah I'm sure your right buddy. I tried dxtory with the AMD VCE Codec & it worked without crashing but had the fps drop again. Maybe the GPU cannot handle high fps 4k encode is the reason why.
  9. The Supermicro H8SCM-F hates 4 sticks of RAM, so I reduced it to 32GB which runs at full speed DDR3-1600, otherwise with 4 sticks it has USB 3.0 PCIe card issues & BSODs galore & the RAM only runs at DDR3-1066. So now that I have 32GB 2x 16GB in there all the issues went away. So now I need to order 2x sticks of 32GB DDR3-1866 for 64GB SK Hynix RAM from Cisco.
  10. For some reason the atikmdag-patcher-1.4.12 doesn't work on 19.9.2 drivers so I'm going all the way back to the driver which was supposed to improve performance for Call Of Duty WWII, 17.11.1. We will see. *Update* 17.11.1 as soon as I tried record said needed to enable "Record Desktop" so I did & as soon as I started recording the whole system went to black screen & restarted so 17.11.1 is a no go but I was able to patch the driver on an older patcher. So maybe I'll try patching 19.9.2 again... Test it out. This is so f*ing annoying btw. 21.11.3 works fine but with fps drop idk what to do. Maybe I'll just forget about recording at 4k?
  11. So far I installed V5-UWP-PolarisVegaNavi-WHQL-Insight-NimeZSlim-Adrenalin-22.4.1-DCH-HotFix3.0 from Forums.Guru3d & it's said to fix AMD VCE issues. Although it didn't fix it for Call Of Duty WWII, I'm sure a different driver will I hope. I need 4-5K recording capabilities without fps drop. I notice the CPU Utilization doesn't change when I enable recording it stays about the same about 40-50% in game 4k maxed out with Pre T2X rendering at 50% and shadows disabled since shadows hit fps hard without a significant visual impact. They use tons of shadow maps anyway so they are just for dynamic shadows I believe. Right now I'm downloading 19.9.2 which is really old but known to have really good ReLive support so I'll test it out. Thanks for the all the help! I hope we get to the bottom of this issue!
  12. Thanks bro I have been on Windows 11 for quite some time now without many issues. I even have footage showing proper fps on the RX 480 @ 4k on my YouTube channel just can't remember which driver version I was using. I guess I can look at the upload date & correspond with the proper driver version.
  13. So it's recording 4k now on 21.11.3 but before I record I'm getting 93 fps & when I start recording it goes down to 51 fps. It didn't do this before because I have recording proof earlier it was recording properly at full frame rate. I don't know what to do bro's. *Update* When using DDU I noticed some Microsoft Remote Display Adapters in the mix when there should just be the 1 AMD display driver to uninstall. Is it because I'm using Windows 11 Pro with remote desktop capabilities? I lose 10-15 realistically when recording at 4k, more if I'm looking up at the sky it cuts the fps in half from 93 fps to 51 fps basically on Call Of Duty WWII.
  14. @ENTERPRISEThanks man. I tested lower quality settings & it still crashed. I even reinstalled Windows 11 all together & tested with no overlay or OSD running in the background, still crashed. So I DDU'ed again & installed 21.11.3 & so far so good hasn't crashed when recording 4K. It's ultra-lame that recording is broken on the new drivers for this RX 480 & not the older drivers.
  15. *Update* Just fixed it, the trick is setting the owner of the D:\WindowsApps to TrustedInstaller.
  16. *Update* Just fixed it, the trick is setting the owner of the D:\WindowsApps to TrustedInstaller.
  17. Well it's not solved by the older or newer driver, it's crashing again at 4K & 5K but not at 1080p... I haven't tested 1440p.
  18. I wanted to thank everyone for contributing to this thread. By the way I wanted to let you know if you have to use just 2 sticks of RAM to use 1600mhz to 1866mhz RAM on C32 socket Processors. Since with all 4 slots populated it runs at a max of DDR3-1066 & nothing can help this not even Thaiphoon Burner. I think it can handle 1866mhz RAM since it has the option for it in the BIOS. I would use 2x 32GB sticks on this socket instead of 1600-1866mhz. By the way I am having USB 3.0 issues on this Opteron system... Code 43 for some reason, why? Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. VIA USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0 (Microsoft) PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3483&SUBSYS_34831106&REV_01
  19. What about Thaiphoon Burner @pioneerisloud My module's aren't protected with write protection which I'm lucky for, I have a chance at fixing this issue with Thaiphoon Burner.
  20. *Update* For some dumb reason the Supermicro BIOS is at fault here with this Mushkin RAM. It uses the wrong timings at 1066mhz, way too tight is why it BSODs & barely gets to Windows most of the time. So I dialed the RAM back to DDR3-800 & Its using the right timings now its working fine with 64GB installed, but the RAM is slow as heck bro's! Can you help me mod the BIOS so it uses the right timings with the RAM installed?
  21. I tried it on my other PC, the Opteron 4386 system & it didn't work. 0x80070199
  22. So I got my Mushkin Proline RAM in & it BSODs if I have all 4 module's installed & boot loops continuous but will boot but reports the 1600mhz module's as 1066mhz unbuffered DIMMs. With 2x module's installed for 32GB it reports 1600mhz & works fine. I contacted Supermicro & they said the memory wasn't on the QVL list for memory. I should have bought Samsung Module's because of their higher compatibility.
  23. I keep getting access denied with these permissions on the network share of my D:\ using my Username. Why? How do I fix this? *PS - I have local permission granted but not over the network, why?*
  24. I took ownership of the folder & used Acronis True Image to recover the Forza Motorsport 7 folders from my backup of C:\Program Files\WindowsApps to D:\WindowsApps. Although after I did that & proceeded to install the game from the XBOX app, it didn't detect the recovered files/folders & is just installing it fresh. Why? Why can I recover to C:\Program Files\WindowsApps & the install detects the recovered files on the C:\ drive but not the D:\ drive? *Update* Got it working. Took ownership of D:\WindowsApps, deleted the folder. Created a new WindowsApps folder then recovered my Forza Motorsport 7 backup to the D:\WindowsApps location then installed the game on XBOX app on Windows 11 home edition x64. At first it gave error messages, but at the bottom it said it was ready to play, so now it's working.
