  1. So I got the 16gb ram and it works fine on the new board mind u the integrated graphics use over 1gb of dedicated vram for 14.9gb available & I cannot figure out how to crossfire the r5 integrated apu graphics with the r5 m430 discrete graphics but any im having an issue with the r5 m430. It doesn't show up in HWINFO or MSI Afterburner but in the device manager it shows up fine. I get all zeros in msi afterburner and it doesnt even show up in hwinfo at all. Why? Is it a driver problem or issue? Any advice would be appreciated. Sometimes the AMD Radeon R5 M430 works and other times, not. Sometimes games start up using the integrated AMD A8-7410 R5 graphics which can see 6-7fps on some titles and the AMD Radeon R5 M430 is way more powerful at like 35-40fps. I've tried 22.6.1, 23.4.2, and 19.11.1 drivers all pretty much have issues with the switchable graphics. By the way I cant quite get much clock out of the R5 M430, just about 1075mhz on the core from 955mhz and 1075mhz on the memory from 900mhz is all i can get out of reliably. I wish I could crossfire the dual R5s to get more performance but i dont think its possible but i could be wrong. I tested NimeZ drivers out 23.4.2 and when i enable crossfire through the drivers it says this and in game on fullscreen the colors are all busted and sometimes I get BLUE colors replacing RED & ORANGE like my OSD goes from Orange to Blue which is odd idk how to fix it other than ALT ENTER ALT ENTER twice. Thanks
  2. Hello thanks for the reply & the reason why is its a direct connection because i dont have a switch or a router on me to assign ips. I've done it this way before and it worked, but this time it's not working. What would you suggest for ip address, subnet mask, and default gateway for a static ip to get it working on both pcs (2)? Thanks
  3. Cannot ping Windows 11 Pro PCs with static ip directly connected by ethernet pc 1 set to 192.168.1.100 / 255.255.255.0 / 192.168.1.1 pc 2 set to 192.168.1.101 / 255.255.255.0 / 192.168.1.1 I tried pinging eachother from both pcs and still request timed out every time, even after disabling the firewall. Any advice? It shows No network access on both pcs as well... I get activity lights on the ethernet port so its got some kind of connectivity.
  4. getting forza to work from backup is a real pita because now i cant change the owner of WindowsApps to NT Service\TrustedInstaller because it keeps saying access denied. Know of a good app that can control permissions and security in windows like a backup and restore permissions app? Do you know how to write a simple .bat file or something similar to take ownership in context menu but that changes WindowsApps to NT Service\TrustedInstaller owner?
  5. @bonami2Nice man. Me too I'm going on a shopping spree on the 1st buy a Micron 1100 2tb ssd for $50 & a 128gb samsung cm871a i believe is the model for $9.99 & among other computer tech goodies like a mini monitor 1280x800 native 10.1" for various purposes. Not to mention I'm getting 100ft of solid core copper 18awg fire alarm 2 conductor red black wire with a red sleeve for $23 which is amazing being solid core copper no strands that fray & break all too easily, which is for my LG 3D BluRay home theater receiver Digital Optical is what I'm using from the unit to my 4K Hisense 43" TV for Dolby DIgital 5.1 & DTS 5.1 surround sound. I hope it will sound amazing on the solid core copper wire. I'm using the 128gb ssd on my tv as storage but over USB 2.0... Will I still benefit with better small file performance over the integrated NAND memory or MLC idk which memory type my Hisense 43A6H uses with Mediatek MT9612 (Which I'm trying to root & the bootloader is already unlocked just need to pull or find partition A boot.img to root if you can help bro it would mean the world!?!). Anyway thanks for looking into that hub for me & I think it should suit quite nicely. Here's the firmware if u can extract it and send me the boot.img I'd be amazed! I actually extracted it already with Python for Windows & Binwalk & Gzip. I can't seem to extract the .gz files... 43A6H_43A53FUA(0012)_M1114.extracted.zip - Google Drive DRIVE.GOOGLE.COM Thanks
  6. @bonami2That sounds cool man & I'm sorry to hear about the power not able to handle external hard drives. Not even like a 5v 1a 2.5" drive? Can you look at that hub I posted & see about the card reader speed, is it truly good speed card reader?
  7. Format fat32 any usb flash drive, I couldn't get some of sandisk drives to work but my 32gb sandisk cruzer glide worked. To simply test if your flash drive will work just insert the fat32 drive in the USB 2.0 black port preferred and turn off machine with full battery plugged in. Hold FN + R and boot and keep let go. If the RIGHT led blinks WHITE it WILL NOT WORK, use another flash drive. If it blinks ORANGE, it WILL WORK. Download the latest BIOS for your laptop from Lenovo's website and open it and proceed to flash in windows and it ERROR out. Do not close the window & navigate to C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\Roaming\ I can't remember the folder name since I don't have my PC right now but search for BIOS.cap. Copy the BIOS.cap file to another known safe folder as backup. Now simply copy the file to the fat32 flash drive that blinked ORANGE as explained earlier. What I did was made a 2nd copy of the BIOS file and named it 1QCrisis.bin because I found that filename by searching with HxD the BIOS.cap text for the word "crisis", I suggest you all do the same for your specific laptop but it's likely exactly the same. This procedure should apply to ALL Lenovo laptops by the way. Now finally turn off the machine & plug it in with full 100% battery or as high as it'll charge & hold FN + R, then press the power button. Hold FN + R until you see ORANGE led blinking and it shall proceed to flash the BIOS & finally fix this dreaded issue! Good Luck!
  8. The reason why I need a detachable cable is so I can maintain USB 3.0+ reliable speed since I bought a hub with a fixed cable not even 5 months ago & already from a constant bend in the cable at the connector of the USB type A male end, has caused the hub to fallback to USB 2.0 speeds now which is a major bummer man. So by using a 10Gbps hub like the one I linked with supposed 102mb/s speed on the card reader and using a quality replaceable USB type C to USB type A 10Gbps cable I can maintain reliability on the hub for the foreseeable future. I'll use 10Gbps usb type c male to usb type a female adapters on the 2 usb c ports because I only use USB type A 3.0+ devices.
  9. Thanks for the insight on the UHS-II & UHS-III, thats what I needed to search. I found this hub which seems to be close to perfect. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NXNNY1N/?coliid=I1XFIH8T8AWD5A&colid=XSX959VRLTZA&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
  10. Which hub has a USB-C detachable interface between hub & device with a SuperSpeed 3.0 Card Reader? I cannot find any hubs with a detachable usb c interface with a couple usb 3.0 type A ports & a super speed card reader with all ports & slots including the card reader capable of 5Gbps speed. Please send links. Thanks
  11. I fixed it so easily, just used a different usb flash drive a 32gb sandisk cruzer glide and formatted to fat32 and threw 2 files on there as i couldn't confirm yet which one it looked for but it worked! Turned off the laptop had a full battery and power plugged in & held fn + r and power and it booted right to begin the ultra fast flashing process took only 30 seconds or less and now its all back to normal. bios.cap & 1QCrisis.bin

  14. Thanks. i'll post some videos when i throw it together. Showing if the crossfire works & how well using "AFR Friendly CrossfireX" and about overclocking the AMD Radeon R5 M430 2GB discrete GPU. I certainly could use the discrete GPU because performance is sub-par on the integrated R5 graphics.
  15. Hi buddy. Well the problem is I get functioning wifi with the default windows driver but the bluetooth didn't work at all until I found this Atheros bluetooth driver from a specific laptop Acer Aspire 5750Z I believe it was. Which gave partial bluetooth support, which detects wireless bluetooth displays but no xbox controllers or wireless speakers or mouse or keyboards... I need a new driver or a known to work well adapter for Windows 11, a mini PCIe wifi adapter. Know of a good one if we give up on the driver for this adapter?
  16. Windows 11 driver for Mini PCIe AzureWave / ASUS Wifi Bluetooth adapter? It installs as something totally different like a Qualcomm Atheros adapter of some sort. I'll provide more details later. In the mean time I looked all over and can't get the bluetooth working properly, so if you can help I'd appreciate it? Thanks
  17. I cannot figure out how to get the mediatek tv into brom mode to flash the boot.img.
  18. I'm going to be installing a new motherboard in my lenovo ideapad 110-15acl 80tj with AMD A8-7410 2.5ghz quad on top of AMD Radeon R5 graphics @850mhz & a 1030mhz AMD Radeon R5 M430 2GB DDR3 video ram at 64 bit i believe? Any word on if i can achieve 1250mhz core and 1250mhz memory on the AMD Radeon R5 M430 & also CrossfireX with the A8s R5 gfx? Can you tell me all about Dual Graphics, ie combining the two graphics chips into AFR friendly CrossfireX or some such I hear? Can anyone find any videos of a R5 M430 & this A8 APU both in dual graphics mods CrossfireX mode I guess is what they call it... correct me if im wrong? I'm eager to upgrade the laptop to 16gb ram dd3L-1600 since its half the price of 1866 at this size single module for a single module system. Thanks
  19. Maybe you are familiar with an alternative root patch the boot.img method to root an android device? Specifically my Google tv. Sorry but i think mtkclient gui requires me to enter brom mode which i cant on this tv as of yet. my goal now is to gain root access with supersu or magisk or something. thx
  20. HISENSE 43A6H GOOGLE TV ROOT WITH MTKCLIENT GUI HOW TO? The Hisense 43A6H is a Android 11 Google TV with a Mediatek SoC chipset MT9612. Hi does anyone know how to dial in mtkclient gui for windows and get root access if i already have the bootloader unlocked and already have the boot.img ready? I tried Magisk & it didn't work. Thanks
  21. Did u monitor the rpm at full tilt when u first bought the laptop? If so what was the original max rpm? I'd replace the fans if u feel they aren't pulling rpm like before but u can tell if there is damage to the bearing if the fans are hard to turn by finger or feel any friction. I would personally replace them and if u don't have a software option to force to full tilt while under load or creating a custom fan profile. Just snip the PWM wires, the blue wire usually or u always have a red positive wire, a black ground wire, a yellow rpm sense wire, and a pwm wire could be green but usually is blue just cut it and forget about it on both fans if u cant control the fans by software in the operating system. This will yield peak performance on the CPU & GPU on all tasks all the time. Good luck
  22. This is the best laptop for the money with the absolute latest technology. The 8-core 16-thread AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS APU with RDNA2 AMD Radeon 680M Graphics built in the CPU, this time at like 3Ghz on the integrated GPU?!? not to mention the NVIDIA RTX 4060 8GB Graphics. Sure just 8gb ram but I would upgrade it to 64gb ddr5-4800 for $200, bring the grand total to $1,299 + tax.
