...on .50 caliber:  A while back, we went to a shooting range here to sight and dial in a new riflescope for deer hunting ...the range has an uphill segment with marked paper targets at 25 yards, 50 yards, 75 yards...all the way to 300 yards...

...next to our shooting slot, there was a fellow I had noticed before in the parking lot; he had a .50 caliber and a BIG new military scope...but all he ever shot at with his .50 caliber and military scope was the 25 yard target...which would flutter away anyway because of air pressure, no matter by how far he missed...

...now back to your regular programming

I'm surprised you noticed that ?

My bf had it laying around and was like "yo put this on there" lol

And yes, there's already a small amount of clutter on it ?

It was one of the first things I noticed.

My desk was totally empty and clean last weekend, it took me only one week to make a mess..

So for this picture I decided to clean it again :classic_laugh:

* books level the speakers, i actually measured

* ac whole house impossible cause eldery "its too cold in here", check temp and it's 77degrees, so portable FTW

* oh and stupid curtains cause west facing window, and me n the glowy ball of light no get along, the shades behind are already closed, my eyes hate me

Anyone got any spare bullets I can put on my desk or should I use a shotgun shell?

My blinds work pretty good, my window is facing the south but I don't have any problems with light. And it's a lot cooler because of that.
And I've got the same problem with cables, next time I'll clean it up with some velcro bands

update time, did some desk de-cluttering, got new mouse and keyboard and desk mat, and cable managed under my desk also ATH-M50x's and a Marantz microphone and boom for streaming along with a native instruments komplete audio 1 interface. excuse how the wall under the desk looks, a cabinet that was previously in that spot had rubbed along the wall and wore the paint off.

I'll take a better picture of it and post it here for you tomorrow. Thanks btw.

I also have two Intel posters I got by emailing them years ago and asking, they directed me to an outside company that handles people asking for "schwag". One is a "How Intel makes chips" poster that's pretty cool and educational. Its on the right side of my desk behind my Gundams.

You bet. I like buying them in pairs just like I like my dual processor rigs lol

Don't have time for this stuff anymore but it was fun while it lasted, although I am mulling over the possibility of another Thundercat 900 for this winter.

110HP rotax two stroke

image.jpeg.ed56efd1a398247f1e4a61f5c57f1097.jpeg

old 900cc tcat on the left has 160HP (triple), wildcat 700 EFI has about 110-120HP (twin)

image.jpeg.34711feffcfb872fae60deae68ce540c.jpeg

image.jpeg.765ac479596592f05d046a1a4632362b.jpeg

97 thundercat 900cc triple with vforce reeds, big bore carburetors, custom clutch setup with red spring, triple piped, gutted resonator, and modified oil pump with 8 post electrical stator. Carbide blades up front and 185 studs on the track. LED lighting is brighter that way, and the hand warmers work better. Did about 120mph. Good for about 180HP. Also has a rear suspension and track setup from a much later model artic cat sled, so once you drop that in, she's really a good trail runner with plenty of power on tap.

image.jpeg.2cab9c2255447abad01a6a5b196d99fc.jpeg

I've gone faster but this is the only time I had a camera zip tied to the handlebars lol

Interesting. Snow's been a bit light this year thus far though, at least this side of the daks.

Yeah very mild winter so far... which i don't really mind TBH

Repainted the desk, I think the whole area looks much better now. Also brought in a second workbench with a vice. It's a little close to where I sit, but works.

The gloss difference you see is just the paint curing. Will get a second coat later.
