If only these were on the market a little earlier I may have gone for one. Its nice to have a "Gamers TV" finally. For me, everything prior to this generation fell short.

Little over £2K for the 55 inch model and LG recently lost a class action lawsuit with burn in on their OLED TVs in Australia. I wouldn't have bought this over a montior that was already on the market. If you drop the price by at least £1000, make it IPS instead of OLED then maybe I'd consider getting one to replace my now 8 year old 1080p TV that I'm using as a primary monitor.

The burn in is certainly a turn off for me. I would never get a screen (TV or Monitor) that suffered from this, as far as I am concerned it is a design fault. Consumers should not have to be careful how they use their screens in a normal usage scenario, just silly.
