Extreme Team Folding New Stats Site Testing Needed - ETF Update

zodac has been working hard on the database, but we had a small hurdle to jump this past week. On April 9th, PG changed the stats AGI which is an ongoing project for them currently. TC testing came to a halt, and the PG reps were not very supportive to offer a solution, but we have found a way to make this stats site development move forward thanks to firedfly at Team 33. It's always good to have a good relationship with other folding folks, even if they once were an enemy lol. Yes, Team 33 is HardOCP.

 

zodac has tested the solution firedfly gave us, and we're getting close to throwing some teams into zodac's database with a simple front-end output that will be tweaked when the database is finalized. So, the team captains should be getting their teams in place right now to help us test the site as soon as next week!

 

The Potential Team Captains need to confirm they will be a Team Captain for sure, pick a team name, post your team thread in the Elite Team Folding sub-forum, and begin recruiting the 2 other folders to join their team. We really only have 1 more interested Team Captain which is Kobalt from OCN, but he has yet to join here, so I will reach out to him again, but 3 team threads are already up, so if you would like to join 1 of the 3, great! Just ask the Team Captain of the team you wish to join.

 

The current teams are:

 

Fluffy Pink Ninja's - Team Captain - BWG (for now). Also, @Bastiaan_NL @tenchimuyo93 Team is complete. At least 1 Team Captain is on it?  

Out of Beta - Team Captain - @Supercrumpet2 folders needed? 

The Foldaholics - Team Captain - @tictoc  Also, @Avacado @axipher Team is complete. 2nd place for this Team Captain  

TBD4 - Team Captain Kobalt and 2 folders needed.

 

Summoning all those who completed the sign-up sheet to begin finding a team:

@ENTERPRISE @axipher @Avacado @Zonalo @damric Argosy (not on EHW yet - PM'd), u3b3rg33k (not on EHW yet - PM'd), Humafold (not on EHW yet - PM'd).

 

I would very much like to at least get 2-3 teams assembled for the Demo that zodac can input, so let's get busy folks! Try your best to get on a team and ready for testing by this Sunday.

My rigs are ready, and my dedicated folding rig has already been folding for a couple days while I tune settings. Just put me on whatever team and tell me what to click on to make sure the points are going to the right place.

The 2080ti is online too. I think that would be my best bet for the TC as a 24/7 headless dedicated system

Who has an AMD GPU that can fold on my team if@tenchimuyo93is unable to for our Demo that will start tomorrow at midnight? You'd need to leave it up and folding for the entire month until we get 1 test month under our belt to see how the month end reset etc. works. We need to try and at least have 2 full teams ideally for the demo. @Supercrumpetand Kobalt have not responded yet about their teams.

Like BWG said I'm still looking for two more guys for Out of Beta. I'd be easiest for me to fold in the Nvidia slot with a GTX 980 since I have some hardware choice there, plus that's what's still in my TC rig from the OCN days. @damric I think it'd be great to have you on onboard as an AMD folder, then the wildcard slot can be whatever is available.

@Zonalo you want to join Out of Beta? They will be full then for the test. Send me your unique passkey assigned to your 1 item you fold which can be a nvidia GPU, AMD GPU, or CPU since you would be in Wildcard. Also, folding name, O/S Windows or Linux, Hardware Model.

I have u3berg33k added as a team captain. He will need some folders unless Wondermutt and some of his old TC friends join in. Might be a bit though. Those guys have not visited ocn for 3 or more days I PM'd over there, except u3berg33k.

 

I also requested a Discord Channel and some ETF Roles for all those involved so we can use that for quicker stuff as needed.

Just a little update, been pretty stagnant with users coming to me to join teams that I ping'd earlier in the thread, but we honestly have enough to really see the demo working and the formulas. Could use some ready folders for u3berg33k's team, and he doesn't care if it's Full Auto or something new. He's a consistent folder. Would be a good team.

 

Kobalt has not replied yet. We might need a few more team captain volunteers. 

 

Ideally, this event will go live on June 1st!
