According to reports from VideoCardz, Gigabyte is readying an Aorus-branded AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card equipped with a water block. The Aorus Xtreme WaterForce WB Radeon RX 6900 XT will feature multiple addressable RGB LEDs and will be aimed at those who already have a custom liquid cooling system (LCS). Right now details are sparse, so take them with a pinch of salt.

 

Gigabyte's Aorus Xtreme WaterForce WB Radeon RX 6900 XT will carry AMD's top-of-the-range Navi 21 GPU with 5,120 stream processors, though it is unknown whether the GPU will come in its XTX variant (with certain limitations for clocks and voltages) or in the unlocked XTXH version with no limits. Exact specifications of the board are unknown at this point, reports VideoCardz.

I've got 2x Aorus Xtr 2080 Ti Waterforce WB since December '18 - no problems with them at all re. w-cooling quality. I wonder if this 6900 XT version will have more than just 2x 8 pin PCIe...time will tell...

Considering the air cooled Red Devil version of the 6900XT comes with the 3x 8Pins, I would be surprised if they go to the effort creating a WC version with no particular gain by not adding in another 8Pin.

...they 3090 Aorus Extreme Waterforce models only have 2x 8 pin, while the air-cooled Aorus Extreme 3090 has 3x 8 Pin and higher clocks...what a weird world we live in. Asus is doing the same thing this time around.

Yeah the logic is painful, why use WC on a lesser PCB (power wise) and keep air coolers on a PCB that would clearly benefit from WC..... strange world indeed.
